I only have 3 books. The Guardian, The Deceived, and The Haunting. My Pokemon Version will be based on those three and some of my own ideas. The character are all Pokemon. Like Becka - Medicham and Juile - Beautifly. People who are realted will be the same Pokemon as well as couples. So there are 4 Medichams (if you count there Mom). Ryan is a Medicham as well. Krissi is a Noctowl and so is Philip. Thats all I have planned for now. Wait till tomorrow. I'll have everything planned.

So...they're all going to fight supernatural devil worshippers and wiccans? =0

I'm kinda blurry on how it'll turn out like the book. But it does sound like a good idea ^^;

Hm... nosepass...

The thing about nosepass is that he's not really discriminated against so much as he is ignored and um...I don't like nosepass. I don't have much of an initiative to write about him...

Annoyed how much people love it? XD

But yes...I could see a few things it could pick with us.

what about Unown? I may've mentioned it earlier in the thread, but while they're obviously not meant for competitive play, I personally love them in-game because they're such a fun Pokemon to play with. You collect them in 28 different shapes, and I have such a nice time trying to figure out what type of Hidden Power they possess. Since everyone's all about competitive play, though, they'll bash Unown, take note of its uselessness, and immediately condone it as one of Gamefreak's worst, crack-influenced ideas for a Pokemon ever.

BTW, on the subject of Pokemon capitalization.... the way I see it, even though they're a species, Pokemon are also representing a type of fictional character. I think this is why several species' names in other video games and anime are capitalized as well, because they all count as a character. Sure, these species could be left uncapitalized, but considering how capitalization of them is so mainstream, both in fandoms and the official products themselves, it just seems kinda awkward to see someone suddenly leaving it uncapitalized.

Eh, I just thought nosepass would be a good one, namely because at a lot of the forums that I go to he's on everybody's most-hated list because he's "OMG so ugleee!" Personally, I like large, orange noses.

Meh, I prefer noncapitalization. After all, in the games, everything is just capslocked, and I certainly wouldn't want to read a fanfic that keeps on having people refer to HOUNDOOMs just because it's capitalization canon sort of.

Tolkein never capatalized his fictional species/characters. It's hobbit, not Hobbit.

Also, that's what Negrek was saying before... when the name of a specific chracter, it becomes a proper noun. ::shrug::

I think he's funny, not ugly ^^; I bet nosepass have great personalities. xD

I'm one of those people o___o; *suddenly feels awkward*

Anyways, I'll always capitalize Pokemon names, if simply with the excuse that you capitalize Genis names.

Actually, it is E. coli (has recently come off reading Fast Food Nation for shcool). But since pok?mon names are the names of the species, not the genus, I'm still not getting why they should be capitalized.

Oh, I forgot to mention it before, but I love the feebas on your banner (teh right one), Act. Angry feebas!! You did that one yourself, right?

Nosepass are fun characters if they're pulled off right. Sike Saner did an excellent job with one in his 'fic... must find quote... *scurries off to find quote*

Edit: found one!
"Hmmph. Yeah, it was Smeargle, alright. Look at this mess..." The Nosepass meandered around the house, surveying the vandalism and groaning ever louder as he stumbled upon more and more damage. Then, he must have come across his own reflection somewhere, because he shouted, "Aw, crap, they did mark me!...How did they put this crack in my head, though?"

"They didn't. I did, and I was just trying to wake you up. Does it hurt?" Syr asked in concern.

"No, it doesn't, really," Karo replied. He came back into the room where Syr still lay immobilized. The hole he'd made in the floor caught and held his attention. "Who did this?"

"That would be you, and your massive nose."
*ish hopeless Karo fangirl*

Stupid Word ( should never listen to it). Whatever xD

Actually, the feebas on the right is the official sprite for emerald (I think). It's very weird.

Haha. I have a newfound respect for nosepass ^^; The'd make very good comics.

0.o I KNEW I was gonna miss something during work... XP

NEways, welcome back, Niko, nice ta see the anti-crap gunner back in action. XD

Oh, yeah, coupla things:

Negrek: Apologies for the lag in my battle, I got a brilliant idea and now hafta rewrite the whole thing because the other one was too clunky. XD
Bliksem: Sorry for not reviewing yet, I haff no excuse. 8P

Hmm, I see Breezy posted here again. And Dragonfree has another FFotW thing, and I miss so much when I'm not on. XD

There have been so many topics, I'm not going to attempt trying to catch them. 8P

Question: What is it in a fic that hooks you?

For me, it's a combination of real-life humor, great grammar and action.

As long as it's interesting and has a decent pace~

I can't stand it when it's just like "blaaahhhh..." >.<;

'S okay, SilverBlaze09. I'm just glad I'm done with my part. Man, that thing took forever to write...

An original idea, good prose, or well-written action tends to hook me into the story. Good characters, too, but normally you can't tell terribly much about the characters from the first chapter unless they're really poorly written.

Heh, I should get xXSaberXx to post 'Pok?mon Revelation: Cross of Fates' here. She's scary-good. First-time fic(99% sure) and she's already got 20+ chapters in about four months. 8} And almost 100% of them are good quality.

On second thought, no. Y'see, her chapters run ta two or three posts on SPPF, and this place is significantly smaller in terms of characters per post. She'd spend half her day posting one chapter... XP
'S okay, SilverBlaze09.
*wipes hand across brow* Whew, that's a relief. *puts down anti-missile shield*

*twitch* If your battle(which is awesome, by the way) took forever to write, what is mine taking? XD

Has anyone other than me read 'The Legendarian Chronicles', by Chibi Pika? Anyone other than me and LilyPichu, I mean. XP 'Twas FFotW for a bit, but I think she gave up updating here. XP

I hope it won't take too long, SilverBlaze09. Glad you liked my half, too. Can't wait to see yours...

I've read the Legendarian Chronicles. I also read Cross of Fates, but I didn't like it very much.

I dedicate the entire afternoon today to hammering it down. ;D
Glad you liked my half, too.
*grunts* 'Like' is too weak a word. Maybe you could say 'awed'. XD
Can't wait to see yours...
I'll do the best I can. XD
I've read the Legendarian Chronicles.
That's good. XD What didja think of it?

By the way, I'm still grateful for that review you did for 'Battlefront'. 8D
I also read Cross of Fates, but I didn't like it very much.
Ah, well. Difference of opinion and all. XD I love the laughs.

And I have a correction to make from that other post. She's written 41 chapters in almost six months. She woulda done more, but she went on vacation. XP XD

Anyways, yeah.

Question: When you're writing your story, and Nintendo comes out with another region, do you incorporate the new area in your story, or just ignore it? If you use it, how do you explain why it wasn't seen before?
