Pokemarts are just your typical RPG shop in the games. In a more realistic setting, you would get food, Monster Balls, first-aid supplies, etc. either seperately from a variety of places that specialize in selling just that, or even get most of them altogether in an everday general store.
 
I included a Pok?Mart in The Quest for the Legends chapter four. (In the IALCOTN, that will most likely be in chapter five.)

I do use pok?marts. Generally, I view them as sort of a colossal megastore, a chain supported by the league where you can buy pretty much anything pok?related. My characters really only go in there to buy your standard items, but they also stock stuff like pok?mon toys, grooming supplies, etc... things for people who don't necessarily train but keep pok?mon as pets or what have you.
 
I think Pokemarts only supply Pokemon related products. Anything else such as your general grocery can be found in the ordinary store.

It's just a special type of store, I think.

In my fiction Harubi buys stuff for his Pok?mon at the Pok?markt

Anyways, pokemarts aren't such a bad idea. Though sometimes, instead of filling up plot holes, they just overcrowd the chapter... if used in numerous ways. Just a mention of it works for me.
 
I disappeared for a few days. Needed to get SPP/PC off my mind. It helped, though.

Serpent Syra...I used to be his pair up. I'm so naive. @_@
 
The fic by SS I read was a one-shot, and it /was/ that bad. It made abolutely no sense, he confused words constantly, and it was so unproofread that... oy, it was just nonsensical.

:shrug: People think I'm a guy all the time. They'll be *****ing at me and be like, 'he, he, he did this!'

I find it funny. It really flattens someones argument.

As for 'marts, I sort of agree with Negrek... I thought they were almost like a McDonalds of pokemon supplies. You don't go to different places to get fries, a burger, and a drink, do you? So get all your pokemon needs at a Pokemart, and let the monopoly thrive ;)

Now I need to work hard on winning it =O My "What is an American?" report is incredibly good so far, if only I could transfer my skills into fanfics ;D
 
Oh, I think I read that one-shot. The one about gyarados? I think it was nominated for something, so I went and read it. Yeah, I got to the end and was like... "Sooo... WTF was that about, again?"

And then there were all those reviewers who were going "Teh OMG so deep! It was so touching! A life lesson!" And I snickered and left because they were trying to make up for the fact that they had no clue what the heck was going on.

Heh, people think I'm a guy, too. Mai thought I was a guy, even. XD

I always look at peoples genders. Not that that does much good on the internet @_@; People think Katsuro is a female name apparently, so I've gotten some people thinking I'm female XD
 
I thought I was the only one who thought SS had poor word choice! I started thinking I was missing something.

Anyway, pokemarts in fics? Cool. I used one in Worlds Away, kinda. It was a pokemon mall, and I got that idea from the Lilycove department store.

I've read Shadow Beauty. Until now, I've always been envious of the descriptions, although that was my own blind mistake. Possibly.
 
He has written a fic called Emerald Showers correct? Is Shadow Beauty about the Gyarados and Shadow Beauty about the Milotic? Maybe it's the other way around...

Ry does write well and his style fit well for fantasies (which he writes I believe), but he complicates fics that would of been suited better simplisticly.

Er. Yeah. Me and my twinny are so different. It makes me smile. :) I didn't know you two unpaired though Lileh. What happened if you mind me asking?

Dang, first time I've been called out on that. Gotten away with it every other time...

Yeah, Shadow Beauty is the one that got nominated for the awards. It's about the Gyarados. I read the Milotic one, too. I thought it was marginally better, if not very rational.
