I always liked the 3 different Johto openings. They had the catchyest (I don't know if that's a word) themes. I used to find myself humming them in the middle of school.

Master Quest was my all time favorite though.

Lately they're just shocking. Whats all that 'Fight for Survival' about in the DP opening? Hopefully season 11 will have a better theme.
 
I really disliked the ORange theme.... The first Johto theme and the original, very first theme were the best. Especially Johto.... God, I've hummed, no, sung that one a lot in my days..
 
Johto Journeys and Orange Islands were my favorite...really, all the ones with Misty...but if you want to get specific Johto and OI. :)

Orange Islands was the best, the Original Theme was also really good, after the Johto Saga the themes went downhill.
 
I love them all, My Fav. Theme always changes But It's Battle Frontier for me at the moment.
 
Opening themes:

Advance Adventure (JP) I love the music, it's...inspiring. The song also appeared in various moments in the episodes.

I Want to be a Hero (ENG) The music is hardcore, lol. I loved it the first time I heard it.

Pokemon World (ENG) I liked this one as well.

Advance Challenge (ENG) Yeah, soft rock. I like it for the same reason as the above two songs.

Ending themes:

Polka O Dolka (JP/ENG) I don't know anybody who doesn't love this song. It's bouncy and cheerful and just plain silly, just like the Pikachu Short.

Glory Day (JP) Meh, I just like it, that's all.

I liked the first 3 and on the "viridian city" song. All the other are just...bleh to me.

The sinnoh one is by far the one I like the least.
 
the best, and always will be the best... is of course the original "Pokémon" theme. From the first series.

But a song not in the polls was the original PokéRap! That's just such a nostalgia-machine! :D

The Johto League Champions my favorite theme. I like lots of Japanese songs too but this post will be short and in order to be short, I can only do one song
The JLC is like a rehash of the first season song only improved and sounds much deeper and even more Pokemon-y.
The movie version of JLC is much deeper and amplifies the feeling of the tv opening. I love it a little better than the TV version. It's incredible how well they made it sound. It's gotta be one of my favorite dub songs. And it actually brings back more nostalgia than the first theme song ever could.
 
Is Mezase Pokemon Master the first in the poll (the original one)? I haven't voted yet. I guess it's that one, if it is the original one, the first one.
 
Pokemon Battle Frontier was my favourite because the Battles were very intense.
 
This is only based on the english songs, but I really loved the Johto Journey song, it's so catchy and it's much more upbeat, and I love it.

The WORST would definately IMO have to be the Diamond and Pearl. It is certainly very annoying, they are running out of ideas for song lyrics and tune is so repetitive. The most distinguished tune would probably have to be the first season.
 
My fav's are the original one and pokemon johto league. those are the best in my opinion
 
Today I watched the DP opening for the first time on TV and I'm shocked to say...I like it. I don't know why the TV makes a difference o.O
