has anybody else done this (or at least notice they did) if you have more than one Pokémon game... you seem to try to catch a whole lot more Pokémon in one game than the other? for example, with me I am constantly trying to catch more Pokémon in SoulSilver than Black... my caught Pokémon in SoulSilver is around 70ish... and as for Black 20ish... and I am spending more time catching them in SoulSilver... cheating or not.... I seem more focused on the Pokedex of SoulSilver rather than black.... anybody else?

I don't favor one game over another for how many Pokemon I get because in all my Pokemon games, I try to get whatever is available. Like Dragonomega said, I just play whatever game I feel like playing.

I favor my White only because it seems pointless to me to have all my Pokemon on different games, so I transfer them all up to the latest game. I only catch for completion of the National Dex and it's silly to complete it in every game because it's hard enough just for one so I have all my caught Pokemon on White.

I don't try and capture that many Pokemon in any of the games I play, to be honest. The one part of the whole franchise I've never been able to get behind is completing the PokeDex. If the games did what the original Japanese Gen 1 games did and gave you a free Pokemon upon completion, that would a way to boost my catching skills, but as it stands, I only catch what I need to either advance (and become a HM slave) or become a future team player.

I tend to favour one game in every game pair where I try and complete the Pokedex, and the other game in the pair I use to 'feed' the first. For instance, I use HeartGold to try and complete the Pokedex, and I keep restarting SoulSilver so that I can get all the Kanto/Johto/Hoenn starters and all the SS Pokemon that are unobtainable in HG.

Usually when the third game comes out I tend to favour it over the original game pair though.

Platinum was that game in 4th gen; Leaf Green was it in 3rd gen. I choose my favorite game of the generation and use it for storing Pokemon, completing the Pokedex, and all the other game completion activities.

No such game for 5th gen, as GameStop now has my copy of White.

Never completed a Pokedex in any of the games, I capture and trade those that I wanted to have. :') .. But I have completed my Pokedex on Diamond as my friend played my console. XD

I usually just play what ever game i feel like but i have also noticed my self leaining to replay my HGSS games over BW or DPPt
