So everyone has their favorite albums out there. Post your favorite album here and why.

For me, I've always loved "Achtung Baby" by U2. It's one of those albums that just redefine the band's persona and change their image with a newly found experimental genre. Kinda like Radiohead's "OK Computer".

"Songs About Jane" by Maroon 5. @__@ Adam Levine's voice makes me want to die, I love love love Maroon 5. <3~ I just love their style of music and the stories their songs tell. ^-^

Ah, it's so hard to decide. I don't own many CDs in the first place... I'm usually very picky about what I decide to buy. XD I really love Switchfoot's Nothing Is Sound album, because it has several of my favorite songs by them, such as "Stars", "We Are One Tonight", "Easier Than Love", etc.

I also bought the soundtrack for the movie A Walk to Remember because I loved it so much, and I'd highly recommend it. (It's got several Switchfoot songs, too... =3 Yay!)

Another that I really love is a bit older, and it's by a singer named Hoku. There's a long story about why she's one of my favorites... But besides that, all of her songs are great, especially "Perfect Day", and "How Do I Feel".

I also bought the Japanese soundtrack to the 5th Pokémon movie, and I adore it. <3 It has some of my favorite music from the series.

The soundtracks for both Titanic and Phantom of the Opera are also really nice to listen to. I love the instrumental music for both movies... So pretty.

I have a three way tie the nominies are:
    London Calling- The Clash
    Ramones- The Ramones
    Dookie- Green Day

Dang the best albums...hmmm... some of my faves have to be:

"Under The Iron Sea" - Keane
i love Keane and this album is just amazing

    "Violator" - Depeche Mode
im the biggest DM fan although I love everyone of thier albums, this has to be the best, i mean EVERYONE has heard at least one song from this album, whether its "Enjoy The Silence", or "Personal Jesus" or even "Policy Of Truth"

    "X&Y" - Coldplay
this has to be the best Coldplay album....love it

"Make A Sound" - Autopilot Off
a very unde band, but songs like "The Cicada Song" these guys rock

    "Start Something" - Lostprophets
WAAAY better then their pile O' crap they just did, this album had so much greatness and uniquness

    "Blackholes And Revelations" - Muse
have always been a muse fan since "Showbiz" but i love this album just the intro for "Knights Of Cydonia" makes this album an awesome one

well thats a few of my favorite albums

I have to say that my all-time favorite album is either Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness or Adore by The Smashing Pumpkins.

"Hybrid Theory" or "Meteora" by Linkin Park. both are great.

I have fav albums for fav bands, and it's simply impossible to me preferring one over another:

U2 - Achtung Baby. *insert Niko's post here* Achtung Baby is U2's U3.

Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti. This is the Zeppelin reaching it's greatest heights since IV and traveling with remarkable velocities~ Kashmir is my favourite masterpiece.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here. Unlike any other PF n00b, I actually do LOVE this album. From the slow, masterful and anthemic nine parts of Shine On You Crazy Diamond to the mechanic fury of Welcome To The Machine -my fav. PF song- entering record label satires with Have A Cigar and evoking melancholy of an absence with Wish you Were Here.
Really, nothing else to say, just listen to it. =D

Rush - 2112. Rush's half opera rock, a story of a humble man living in far future where he finds an electric guitar behind his loved waterfall.

Anyway, fuse these four nice pieces and you'll get my favourite album~
