Favorite anime character of all time

I'm sure this thread was done before. but since the original is probably old I figured I'd make it again.

It's hard to choose for me, but i'll have to go with Franky Franklin from Spy X Family, He just seems like a funny guy and I wanna know more about his character. but Honorable mentions go to Hitori Gotoh and Ryo Yamada from Bocchi The Rock!

I'm not finished even the first season of Spy X Family yet, but I love Franky, he's hilarious and got such a good energy to him. I especially love his "weird silly uncle" relationship with Anya and how far he's willing to go to support Loid. Everyone needs a Franky in their life.

This is an incredibly hard question but if you sat me down and forced me to answer, I'd either say Ayumu Uehara from Love Live Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, or Himari Uehara from BanG Dream!. Both of them are really relatable for me and have these incredibly sweet relationships with their childhood friends/love interests that are part of what make those series so appealing to me. Both of them have been really great inspirations for me as well as comfort characters when I've needed them. I love experiencing a character's growth and cheering them on as they find their way through it and I've always felt like my favourite part of these two series are these characters specifically, and how compelling they are to me. I will always have a spot in my heart for both of them.

I can't imagine my childhood without these two cartoons. They were my favorite, and still they are my favorite, and I still watch them while having my meal !!

Saki Mizukoshi from the little-known 2012 anime, "Natsuiro Kiseki." She's smart, headstrong, and finds herself in a similar position I found myself in - having to move and switch schools and leave all the friends and everything she knew behind, which helped me resonate with her even more. I highly suggest watching this series if you can find it.

You know, at this point, I'm actually not sure. I've seen a lot of fantastic shows with great characters at this point. Choosing just one or two favourite characters from all that media feels pretty much impossible.

My favorite has to be Light Yagami from Death Note, it's just incredibly compelling to watch him mentally battle L throughout the course of the series as the cat and mouse game ebbs and flows.

My favorite anime character is Reika Hayami from the Kindaichi Case Files. The reason I like her so much is that she is just an optimistic person. We share the same outlook on life and also have similar values. But she is extroverted whereas I am introverted.

oooo this is a toughie - I think I might go with Shion from Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku.

He's generally a really interesting character to read/watch, I like his almost too stalwart honour somewhat gatekeeping a very strong vengeance underneath. Makes for a very interesting dynamic to see play out in the story!
