    How many of you have favorite game songs? Share them (and why you like them) here!

    Some of mine:
    The Mario theme: So bouncy and catchy, who DOESN'T like this song?
    The Zelda theme: It conveys a grand and adventurous air, something that a concert band or an orchestra would play...again, who DOESN'T like this song?
    The Final Fantasy Prelude: A calm and quiet opening to an epic story...

    Then listen to one of the many orchestrated version of the song, or even if you want the Big Band version.
     
    The theme...from that horse ranch in Zelda...it reminds me of the world and how we (were) at peace..I forgotten what it's calleddddddd ;____; But it's such a good song! (edit: LON LON RANCH! I REMEMBER :D)

    Uh....The Astral Observatory theme from Zelda (?)

    I love all the songs of Zelda, especially the Shadow one. I also love all the music from pokemon, like the Jhoto Champions theme song.

    all the Zelda songs are very well-orchestrated which makes them enjoyable...one of the best games on N64 :D
     
    I like the "city escape" song in sonic adventure 2 battle :P

    the latter isn't from any video game as far as I know...it's from a TV show based on a game. XD

    I really love the title music from the pok?mon games...it really gets me hyped up with its tenseness...
     
    yeah, the only pkmn game music I dont like is from Pkmn Collisseum.
     
    Man i like the song from halo.
     
    Oh? there are so many? most of the Chrono Trigger songs, Pirate's lair, Flying Fortress, Aincient Library from FFV, like, all of the Pok?mon GB series games' battle music [especcially R/B/Y Gym Leader and R/S Elite 4]? I guess I'll stop boring y'all now.
     
    Yay for the people who are saying Zelda!

    I, of course, like Zelda music the best. My personal favourite...actually. It's kinda hard to explain. I tried humming The Legendary Hero from TWW, and there is one section where you can actually seamlessly switch to Mujula's Theme from MM. LOL It's fun. I suggest you try humming that.
     
    Try singing Epona's Song! (I found the vocal version and made an English version out of the original Japanese lyrics, PM me if you'd like to see them)
     
    I like Simple and Clean from Kingdom Hearts, as well as Hikari from the same game ^_^

    I have both lyrical versions, thank you very much.

    LonLon Ranch on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Re-Arranged Album
    and
    The Song of Epona on Mario & Zelda Big Band Live CD

    Both are performed by Emiko Shiratori. I think so anyway. I'm know for a fact that she did the Re-Arranged one, not so sure about the Big Band one.

    Honestly, the Re-Arranged version is superior. And, the lyrics when translated are a little odd. It sounds much more beautiful when left in Japanese.

    I like the re-mixed version better...the Big band Live version is too high for my range
     
    Simple and Clean from Kingdom Hearts is definitely my favorite theme! I loved it the second I heard it on the old commercials for the game, lol. ^_^; It is just so pretty, and I adore it.

    I also like the music from all of the Pokemon games, and the opening music for Tales of Symphonia. On the English version it sounded really nice and matched the scenes well, but the Japanese version was neater because someone actually sang the song!

    Oh yeah, and the Harvest Moon games have great themes! They all sound so cute. I also like the music on the opening video for the InuYasha game on Playstation.
