Megalomania (It's an early Megaman album, containing rock remixes of many Megaman songs)
MOTHER: Vocal Collections
Mother 3+
Super Mario Galaxy Platinum Version (OST)
The Vidya - The Official Soundtrack 1-7

I don't want to count the Brawl Soundtrack, since that's just 1 GB of other songs.

I agree with that! The SSBB soundtrack is amazing with all the new versions of classic videogame music. I like the Famicom medley, personally.
 
I can't believe no one said the Street Fighter series. Dude, that is by far my favorite music from a game franchise. Especially Vega's stage theme, which is made entirely of win. And sex. :D

...Ken's stage come in at a close second with Guile's being third. Oh and Ryu's...actually, eff that, they're all amazing.

Most of those are in no particular order. :] But those are my favourites.
 
I absolutely love Morrowind's music. When you first come out the Census Office and you hear the music and see the town, the music is prefect for that moment and I loved it ever since.
 
Definitely FFVII. Amazing soundtrack, there are only 1 or 2 games on it that I don't like. Pretty much all of Nobuo Uematsu's work is amazing too, so the Final Fantasy games by him and KH also have great soundtracks. I think his best work was in FFVII though.
 
Donkey Kong Country 2, Doukutsu Monogatari, Katamari Damacy, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Touhou Project.
Best five vidya soundtracks ever.

I would include Brawl, but 80% of its songs are from other games, so lol.
 
Oh, definitely the original Jet Set Radio soundtrack.

...this is all arbitrary for me 'cause it changes daily, buuuuuuut...let's do a top four.

4~The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ageseasons
16-bit music has this certain ring to it that the ones after can't match...Symmetry City; Ancient Ruins

3~Frogger
Meh, they're memorable...Lave Crush; Airshow Antics

2~Megaman Battle Network 2
The first Star Force and this one clashed for a while...this one won out. All in the MMBN story continuum from the third SF to the first BN have pretty nice soundtracks, but none of them by themselves are REALLY outstanding. But I love how they can weave the same general short set of notes in almost every song in a game (play song after song from a a single game, know what you're doing, and you should see this artistry). Go find examples yourself...it shouldn't be hard.

1~Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim (PS2; PSP)
I wouldn't expect anyone here to be familiar with this game (I had never heard of the Ys series before being drawn to the box art), but the soundtrack is amazing. Eat up this epic generic boss theme...it has a nice, idyllic forest called Quatera Woods. Throw it into the Youtube search bar...

Those right there. Also, the Mother (Non-vocalized) soundtrack itself was very good.
Also, Morrowing had a great soundtrack. Mostly its opening theme.

I liked 3's the most, but Bein' Friends and Pollyanna was the best in the 1st one.

And I agree, she does have a beautiful voice.

absolutly not pokemons :D. hmmm i guess its mario kart ds's music, but in the big picture i dont like any game's music ....

I loved the Mario Galaxy soundtrack!! I had lots of favorite music tracks on there. I liked Good Egg Galaxy, Gusty Gardens, Purple Coins, and all the dramatic sounding stuff. ^^

I also liked the Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World soundtrack. It brought back so much nostalgia from the original Symphonia when I would hear the same music.. ^^ But my favorite track was the final boss theme from it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2E17Nk6Flg
