I like the colour scheme of Charizard X but hatteeee that fire around its mouth. Charizard Y seems a more natural mega evolution, plus it has an awesome ability :) so I voted Y.
 
I like Charizard X better, his design is pretty cool and he finally got the Dragon type he sooo much deserved. The Y version is not far behind though, thanks to having Drought and looking extremly badass.
 
M-Charizard Y is a sleeker, with a much more modern Charizard, I like it, but X's a totally new Charizard with blue flames, so it got my vote.

I wanted to get Pokemon Y but ended up changing to X because of it's release.

Iunno why everyone thinks the flames off his mouth is weird; Just imagine leaking flames from his mouth. I am loving it.
 
I voted Charizard X because his design was what made me pick Charmander as my Kanto starter over my initial choice Bulbasaur. The Fire/Dragon combo sure is pretty fun to use in battle and he helped me a lot when I had to grind BP in the first round Battle Maison battles (which I could only do because Round 2 and on he always got countered).
 
Charizard Y for me. Yes Charizard X looks more cooler and all, but Charizard' Y's stats and ability is superior over Charizard X :)

Strength > Looks
 
Zard X is just so badass, have you seen it's shiny form? It looks even better in that. Not to mention both of its offensive stats are both 130, so you can use it as mixed attacker. :)
Actually Zard Y's speed doesn't get boosted as Zard X's doesn't either.
Unless Drought boosts speed and I'm just ignorant of everything...
 
Charizard y, i like the changes, its got giant ass wings, its sleeker and longer, it looks a lot more badass, and it looks more like a glass cannon which is what charizard is known for being, looks a little more draconic too.

x is blue and black, it has red eyes, it has flames coming out of its mouth, which is nice but.....none of it makes any sense, don`t get me wrong it still looks badass.

I mean y is less of a drastic change but its change that makes some sense, i like it better overall.

In terms of battle, honestly both are good i use each of them in equal measures.
