Voting for Nidos because I have to. Also, if using this thread as generic data, it basically proves a point I've already stated a long time ago. Interesting, though not worth writing about.
I really don't care who wins, to be honest, as long as I got my chips in for them girlie Nidos.
I personally like Poison types, but there are a few I don't like:
Zubat line: I don't really get the point of bats being part Poison type.
Gulpin line: Looks too plain and are bad to use competitively.
Seviper: A blatant Arbok clone. The only difference it its color.
Apart from these three evolutionary lines, I agree on with all the others' opinions on their selections.
Zubat line - I know people really abhor Zubat, but I took a liking to them when I realized they could evolve into Crobat. And since then, whenever I run into a Zubat for the first time on a journey, I usually like to catch one and evolve it.
Nidoran families - Because gender differences and egg breeding confusion. (No but seriously Nidoking and Nidoqueen are great in terms of movepool.)
Because I don't think secondary-Poison counts, I won't include an "Other" vote.
tough decision since I hardly ever use poison types but I am going with nido king due to his great stats, and move pool plus he has helped me out alot in fire red.
I voted for Skorupi and Drapion simply because I like them.
Both aesthetically and in-game use. I prefer Drapion's typing and Skorupi's cute looks.
(Oh, and nice fangs. Good boy, good boy)
I voted for the Zubat, NidoranF, and Skorupi lines.
- Crobat's perks have been listed several times already and vastly outweigh the irritation of wild Zubat/Golbat spam, as well as their general uselessness compared to other choices in battle.
- I have found Nidoqueen to be slightly more useful/bulky than Nidoking for her movepool and Sp. Def. stat.
- Finally, Drapion can be quite an underrated powerhouse if trained correctly. Those who haven't had one on their team at some point are really missing out.
Umm... Is this a joke? Why is the Zubat line winning?.. ._. That's like the most annoying Pokemon besides Tentacool.. what.. what are you guys smoking? Didn't you hate it whenever your in a cave and every 5 seconds a Zubat appears? xD ..anyway, I voted for Nidoking, I think it's just so badass. It was a tough decision between Nidoking and Swalot; Swalot, I'm currently using in my Pokemon Emerald game.
