What are your favorite Pokemon Expansion sets, you basically just fill out a forum of what your favorite card sets are in this layout:

For me it would go like this:

Base Set - Legendary Collection: Base Set
Neo Series: Neo Genesis
ex Series: either ex FireRed & LeafGreen or Crystal Guardians
Diamond & Pearl Series: Secret Wonders
Platinum Series: Platinum
HeartGold SoulSilver Series: Unleashed
Black & White Series: Psycho Drive/Next Destinies or Dark Rush
POP Series: Pop Series 3

So that's pretty much it.

Sorry for the N00bness.... But are theses all the packs of cards you can buy??? I went to go buy some packs the other day (first time since when they first came out) and I was sort of confused on which one to buy. I ended up just buying the black and white trainer kit. Sorry to thread jack...

These are all sets that exist that were printed at some point. A lot of these listed here aren't printed any longer or have only been printed in Japanese so far.

Each set has different cards in it to collect.

Here are my favorite sets:

Base Set - Gym Sets: Gym Heroes/Gym Challenge
Neo Series & Legendary Collection: Neo Revelations
E-Reader Series & ex Series: Expedition
Diamond & Pearl Series: Legends Awakened
Platinum Series: Rising Rivals
HeartGold SoulSilver Series: HeartGold SoulSilver
Black & White Series: Noble Victories
POP Series: none

I changed the categories around to fit more along the lines of chronological order, since the Legendary Collection was released AFTER all the Neo Series were.

Base Set - Gym Sets: Gym Heroes/Gym Challenge ( didn't really collect at this point, but I tought it was cool to have cards like, Blaine's Magmar and such.

E-Reader Series & ex Series: Holon Phantoms ( I liked all the sets with the delta species) Team aqua vs Team Magma ( the team aqua deck I got really got me into collecting)
uhm... I can't really choose, I collected a lot of cards during this series, don't really have a favorite.

Black & White Series: Noble Victories (so far) ( I stopped collecting cards after they came with the 4th gen. But idk, I bought my lil sister the escavalier theme deck and some booster packs, and this is actually making me want to start collecting again XD)
