Favorite SNES Game?

Yoshi's Island. The best SuperNES platformer and the best damn platformer in history, ever. Period. And it shall remain that way for all eternity.

Darn...you said pretty much what I was gonna say. I love that game. I got it when I was little...it was my favorite game then, and it still continues to be my favorite.

I'm awfully torn between Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI. They both just completely blew away the competition when it came to impressive visuals. If I had to pick one of them, I think I'd go with FFVI. Even though they were on the same level in terms of presentation, I think FFVI's compelling storyline and characters just blew CT's out of the water. One could easily make the argument that CT had better and more creative gameplay, but the fact of the matter is that the characters were fun but not particularly deep. So, yeah: My favorite SNES game is FFVI.

I've only played a limited selection of SNES games, but Super Metroid was amazing.

StarFox is another one of my personal favorites, but I'd say I'm biased, since StarFox 64 was my first video game ever.

I have to say that Super Mario World was may favorite. It's a time honored classic really. I dont think anyone over the age of 20 can truly call themselves a gamer unless they've heard of and played this game at least once.

Even though I haven't played many SNES games (like Aeteryn) I'd have to say Star Fox 2, or Super Metriod. Both were amazing for their time, even though Star Fox 2 wasn't released. (Edited due to TRIFORCE89's reminder)

X__x Star Fox 2 wasn't released anywhere.

There's a near-finished beta ROM floating around, but that's all. It was completed, but never released. Elements were implemented into Nintendo 64 and Star Fox Command.

I'd have to say Super Mario All-Stars! What ISN'T good about it?! It has Super Mario 1 - 3 in it and the lost levels! It's awsome!! :P

Even better is "Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World" which has Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, 3, and The Lost Levels. Plus Super Mario World with a new Luigi sprite.

I have a few favorites.
Platformer: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
RPG: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars/Final Fantasy VI(III)
Adventure: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

My favorites would have to be Terragima, Lufia: Rise Of the Sinistrals and Chrono Trigger.

Wow, this is a really hard question to answer, but if I had to pick just one, it would probably be one of the Final Fantasy games

Earthbound. Need more to be said? =P It was EPIC! AWESOME! MAD!
...

Even though I've only played an hours worth. ;P
