    Thread remade so one can talk about HGSS/DPPt towns in the one place.

    so what place is your favourite in the game, and why - is it the music or what you can do there or the look of the place, or with routes what you can catch?

    Personally Goldenrod often has a soft spot from me from GSC and still does in HGSS, and it's a place I often go to as well. As for route... I always liked Ice Path (mostly due to the puzzle which I always found fun), and the route to the Pokemon league, partially because of the music.

    As for DPPt, I suppose it would be a choic between Jubilife (I went there often because gtw/daily draws) and the city with contests in it was nice too - I liked the music theme and it was pretty large.
     
    I like Pallet Town, it's where it ALL started. And Mt Silver always caught my eye, too.
     
    Sinnoh: Sunyshore City because of how its solar panels also act as walkways.

    Johto: Goldenrod City, because of its Game Corner, even though it got nerfed in the English version.
     
    Sinnoh: Hearthome because of all the stuff you can do there.

    Johto: Still Goldenrod, as it has been since the original G/S. There's just something magical about that huge metropolis, whether I'm there for shopping, meeting Whitney, or kicking Team Rocket butt.
     
    I liked Veilstone in DPPt, mainly because it has the game corner, the department store and of course, Team Galactic's headquarters. It seems so lively, even though it has a shady atmosphere to it, I also like the music that pretty much creates said atmosphere.
    In HGSS, there are a lot of Cities I like, but Olivine stands out among them. The town is just beautiful and I like it so much, I've wished it were real. The music in Olivine is really nice, too and the Lighthouse and nearby Battle Frontier is a nice edition.
     
    Goldenrod was my favourite place back in gen 2 since I found the music really calming and I like big cities, but I haaated the music revamp in HGSS so it's no longer my favourite. Right now, my favourite city in all the games is Sunyshore. :D I love that it's all based on electricity and the gym leader is an electric trainer. ♥ It has a fun atmosphere and it's by the ocean so I'd love to live there. I also like Floaroma, though, since I imagine Cherrim would love it there. n_n
     
    mine is goldenrod city. It is my favorite because it has the day care there and you can hatch your egg there if you ride a bike up and down in golden rod city a couple of time and your egg will hatch.
     
    Sinnoh: Canalave City (because of the music) and Sunyshore (because of its uniqueness)

    Johto Mahogany Town (because of it being home of the Ghost type gym leader) and Goldenrod City (because of it being the largest city in the region)

    In Sinnoh, I really liked Eterna City. I think it was mainly for it's music, but I really like the laidback atmosphere it has. It's nice. :D

    As for Johto, in the original games, I loved Goldenrod City, the music was awesome, and there was plenty of things to do. The newer version of the music kinda disappointed me. It was good, but I really preferred the older version, tbh. In HGSS, my favourite place would probably have to be Cinnabar Island. Yes, Cinnabar Island.
     
    I really like going to Goldenrod City. I like the department store and the music.
    As for Routes i really like going to routes 47 and 45. Very cool battles there.

    I like Eterna city. It was the first city I saw in generation 4 (I saw my friend playing it before I got my copy)
