Films that made you Cry ?

Alright...Movies that made me cry...

I'm going to go with Kaga on this one and say Star Trek Generations as well. As there were a few events in there that made me kinda choke up inside.

Along with Star Wars EP:4 Special Edition. I begged my mother to take me to that first day, center seat, and I did. After a twenty minute delay, I remember the "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..." come on. And my heart just swelled as I got ready for those huge words to appear on the screen. As soon as they did and the music started, I couldn't help myself from getting up and yelling in joy with the rest of the audience There were tears in my eyes throughout the whole prologue. I couldn't belive that 20 years after the first one was released in theaters for the first time, I was sitting here getting to watch it on the big screen for the first time for me as well.

Toy Story 2: I don't know why, but the first time I watched that, Jessie's song really hit me right there. I mean, it was beautiful. And it seemed so genuine, that I think if you didn't feel something touching during that scene, you are either ridiculously cold, or oddly disturbed.

Hmm...Pokemon Heroes made me cry a lot...um....Spirited Away...Balto kinda did...Brother Bear...And yes, I watch a lot of animated movies...

Me? Movie? Cry?
I've watched a few movies that were supposed to be sad, but they really didn't have much affect on me......accept for one.

Funny, when I went to go see the Return of the King, I wasn't planning on shedding any tears. I just thought it was going to have the most action of them all (which it did!). I remember, the tears started flowing at the Black Gate, when Aragorn quietly said...

"For Frodo..."

That's when the waterworks began hehe...
All of the parts at the Black Gate and around Mt. Doom were really touching. To think that there was no hope for any of them, and that it was to give Frodo a final chance to destroy the ring.....wow...

Then, I also cried at the scene of the Grey Havens, when Frodo sailed away, along with the others.

Later on, my sister turned to me and said, "Jordan, are you crying?" in awe. I replied, "No, of course not!" and quickly rubbed my tears away. Not that it helped, because my eyes were a little puffy hehe...

The fifth pokemon movie made me cry just a tad, but nothing on the scale of RotK. I even watched RotK three times, and I cried at the end of every single one hehe...

Well, Mr. Nightwolf, consider me oddly disturbed. Although I did feel something during that piece of Toy Story 2. Contempt. Not really, it was pity. An empathy, I've been shunned for a LOT of my life.

Really, the only film that has ever made my cry is Grave of the Fireflies. I mean, normally (at least before watching this) I don't let anything get close to me, but this film shattered my barriers and just left me open to emotion after emotion. I just completly broke down. Such a desperatly sad film. After finishing it I just sat there for about half an hour, went upstairs, got a kitchen knife and just sat there contemplating if I should just get it over with. Then I though that that would in no way honor the characters in the movie. In the end I'm glad I watched it, I think it really helped me get out of my suicidal boredom.

harry potter #1. this sounds weird... but at the end when dumbledore says, "it takes a great deal of courage to stand up to ones enemies, but it takes a great deal more to stand up to ones friends. which is why i award neville longbottom, 10 points"
*bawl*
edit: pokemon movie because it was so far off the game, and almost at the end of shindler's list.

heeey! My Dog Skip made ME cry too! I hated that movie, its too sad...HATED it.

The first pokemon movie made me cry. so did Pokemon Heroes, and 4 Ever. I didnt cry in LOTR cos i read the books and knew what would happen. But i cry in most sad movies (i cant help it >_>)

I read the books too, but the third one was so emotional, I couldn't help it. I cried a little bit when Boromir died in the Fellowship, but, again, it was nothing like I did in the Return of the King.

sad movies are the best and i forgot about the passion too, i came so close... i'm really suprised that i cried during harry potter but not that, something must be wrong with me... or maybe i've just heard the passion story so many times, or maybe i was just kinda stupified by the brutality, and it's not exactly a suprise ending... i've never seen my dog skip, but it sounds sad... if it's about a dog then the dog probably doesn't do too well in the end right? *so uncool*

Yeah the Passion of the Christ... so sad..

LOTR.. I cried in the books.. but not in the movie, if I hadnt read the books then I wouldve..

umm.. Pokemon 4Ever.. Pokemon: The First Movie... almost in Pokemon Heroes

OH YEAH!! I probably cried gallons of tears in Samurai X: Relfection. If you havent seen that, you must, its heartbreaking, especially if you've seen the other RK ovas and the series.

Also Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal, very sad....

There are others... but yeah mostly the saddest movie I've seen is Samurai X: Reflection.

EDIT: Not exactly a movie... but "Gotta Catch Ya Later" was a sad episode... but it annoyed me when Brock just came back like 4 epsiodes later.. it ruined the sadness...

Hmm... films that made me cry, let's see... I've seen two films that made me feel sad, and I could've sworn that a little tear came out...

Pokemon the first movie: Mewtwo strikes back - I felt sad when Ash got hit by Mewtwo and Mew's powers and died, turned to stone and all the pokemon starts crying.

Titanic - The bit where Jack died.

I cried at the end of the Fifth Pokemon Movie. I cried and cried.

*thinks about it* Sniff... *cries*

I used to cry at EVERYTHING...now I can't remember the last time I cried in the past 3 years...

I cried during:

Lion King (mufasa DIED! C'MON!)

and I think that's it...

oh yeah, I almost cried during passion of the christ...I came into the movie knowing I would cry at SOME point, I'm surprised I never actually did...

BOO ya!

It is so easy to make me cry in movies. o_o; Let's see...

When Spiderman's uncle died in Spiderman (I had to stuff my face into a pillow to stop, lol.)
When Mufasa died on The Lion King (Every time that I watch that I end up crying!)
When Amber died... again, on the uncut version of Mewtwo's Origin (It took me a while to stop after that. She was so sweet!)
When Boromir died on The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (He wasn't exactly my favorite character, but it was still sad.)
And at the end of Pokemon Heroes... That sad part. I won't give it away, since the movie is still fairly new.
When Coral and her babies died on Finding Nemo
When Godzilla died on the Godzilla movie (SHUT UP! It was sad! O_o)
In Old Yeller, when Yeller (Or whatitsname) got rabies and had to be shot. *bawls*
In Star Wars: Episode 1, when Qui Gon Gin died
In Titanic, when Jack dies. It was so horrible! I hated that! Him and Rose were supposed to be together. >_>
On Secondhand Lions, when the lion died

And there are actually more! I just can't remember them. Death is what usually makes me cry... (Wierd. All of those movies that I named had a death in them, and that's what caused me to cry. o_o; Gosh, I can't imagine what I'll be like when someone that I really know in real life dies...)
