So, could there be a mafia night action that overrides someone else's? Someone targeted me and saw I scanned Abby, then changed the scan to Gunner. Sounds far-fetched, but it is a possibility. I'd like to hear what Abby has to say about that. If it's true, however, we will have to rely on gut.
Either way, I still think Naku is the higher priority to attack because of the damage he deals, so carry on.

Naku proved lethal vs town, so we re obviously gonna finish yesterday's job.
Who knows, he might even be the one who overrides. He did say he can cause mischief

I'm sure the mafia thought you were going after one of their own, and redirected your scan onto gunner.

Roles like this are pretty common here.

Not really sold on that explanation, Abby.

On another note, Garland is 3rd party obviously. I suppose his win condition is to kill both Zidane and Kuja.
So, here is my suggestion : Garland you should claim today, so we can have an easier time finding the mafias. I will let you know once I find Kuja, so you can kill him at night and win with us.

The only thing troubling me is whether the mafia can mess with my scan every night.
 
Okay, people probably already planned to attack Naku anyway, but here's a bonus reason to. I might as well share since I'm out of mana and close to dying of poison anyway (to all white mages out there: please heal me :)). I attacked Naku with Blizzard last night, which should've dealt 30 damage, yet the only non-poison damage last night was a -15. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I looked up Lumina, the character Naku claimed, and as far as I know it's unlikely for human characters to have magic resistances. According to the Final Fantasy wiki she uses teleportation and summons monsters, which doesn't sound like a spell as Shell either. I'm even more convinced Naku's lying now.

If I'm not mistaken, Naku already said he has a teleportation skill to reduce damage dealt. So, this more confirms his claim rather than invalidate it. The thing is, he claimed a character of his favorite FF game, so he knows his shit. He knew we would Google Lumina, so why not claim a teleport skill?
Using teleport to reduce damage dealt sounds weird, if not impossible. I'm 98% sure he is mafia, so CHAAAARGE

I've been thinking about the "bad" scan. It could be just Abby being able to redirect spells dealt on her. Like, her NA could work like an if thingie.
If X targets me then
Redirect spell to Y.
Or it could be any mafia member, with "me" replaced by someone.
So, I might try scanning someone else tonight. Might.
 
It could be a reflect spell, but considering it went to the ONE CONFIRMED character it sounds like an intention redirect on someone's part. All we know is it was someone other than Gunner unless she's being a total troll.

But Reflect doesn't decrease the damage, does it? It only bounces the attack to another target.
 
Teleporting does many things.

Alex, did someone redirect your action onto an already revealed player? What a dick. Isn't teleportation great?
 
Can we unleash that spell with all of the Knights and King arthur on Naku?
