That's true. It's okay though, it has its emotions in its own way, one of the reasons it's my favorite FF game.

Plus Ashe is the cutest <3

Indeed, the Case of Denzel: On the Way to a Smile novella.

Dude, it's the melancholic attitude he got since Aerith's death.

I have two theories about the Cloud and Tifa relationship will end (someday):

1. Cloud defeats Sephiroth (you know he can make several comebacks in the future XD) or another powerful foe, release itself from the guilt of Aerith's death and end up with Tifa.

2. Cloud dies in an epic battle againt Sephiroth, or another powerful foe, and merges with the lifestream of the planet, cleaning it from the Jenova influence, and meets with Aerith and Zack in the otherworld.

Well, you know FVII have that dramatic, catastrophic atmosphere everytime so, i go with number 2.
Cloud & Tifa will end up together I'm sure, Cloud seems a little better at the end of Advent Children.

Speaking of which, On the Way to a Smile: Case of Denzel was made into an anime special that will being sold with the Special Edition of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete..at least the Japanese version, since I dunno if it is being released here. Here is a screenshot I found for it.

ya like FFVII DoC i thought was gonna have a bad ending but it turned out pretty good ^_^

and to the guy who mentioned something about heavy on romance in FF series,

case in point: FFIV :P
cecil and rosa. that seemed to be the point of the WHOLE game lol. tryin to get her back about 3 or 4 times lol kain keeps bein a d***, and then cecil and rosa cant seem to tell each other anythin til the end scene.

Dude great vid, I'm confused now, is real-time or ATB system again?

Well, I see some similarities with other FF's:

FFVI: There is no "main character".

FFVII: Lightning have amnesia, same as Cloud, they work with a rebel faction, but this time they're the ''evil guys''

FFX: That place looks like Zanarkand.

Wanna play that now XD. But what a big delay Japan 2009, USA 2010

Oh yeah, I noticed those allusions too.

The battle system is a different version of the ATB system where, instead of waiting for the gauge to fill to choose commands, you choose the commands and then your character preforms them when their gauge is full. So basically it's a reverse of the old ATB.

There seems to be other aspects of battle, but I couldn't really make it out.

I think the option to choose may be apparent. Dunno. I really like it though, shame I have approx 365 more days to wait until I can get my hands on a copy of the real game.

I'm really impressed with the demo. The battles are random encounters, but you can see the enmy and approach it. Once you engage in battle it's almost like FFXII where you run around and attack and fight, etc. This also makes it sort of like Crisis Core a bit, except Crisis Core you couldn't see the enemies before you got into the fight except on mission bosses and battles were only on corners. This is actually letting you utilize a tough or easy location to your advantage and vice versa. Very impressive.

I hope on the official game they impliment the Victory Fanfare somewhere though, I was getting worried. I'll be happy even if they only play on bosses like in FFXII.

The characters are nice, Sazh or whatever seems a nice comic relief, Lightning to me actually seems less like Cloud and more like Ashe to me, but that's just my opinion. In either sense, I like those two. Snow was enjoyable as well, and seeing Vaniile was making me yay! :mudkip^_^:; Also, the woman that supposedly dies in the end, I'm assuming that could be a driving force for Snow later, quite possibly like Reks was for Vaan in FFXII.

The Naruto-looking kid was funny and interesting, as was his counterpart, the other chick. I love their personalities, only compared with Snow and the Woman they seemed like comic relief in a shojo anime/manga.

I love Sazh's little chocobo! It's so cute, lol.

The story overall seems excellent, though the intro, if that intro is final, seems a bit too short to me. I like how it through you right in though, it built up exitement that wasn't there when I had first seen FFVII, and that game was supposed to throw you into the AVALANCHE mission too.

The rating system after battles is spectacular, and the battles seem nice and balanced in terms of difficulty. Not too easy, not too hard. Perfect. The look of chests amuze me, those computer orb things, lol. One thing I did not see and I'm pissed the guy didn't show it, if it was there in the demo, the Triangle Party Menu. D: I love how they change it every time and my favorite menu theme is still FFXII's, hehe. ^_^

Overall... 9.6//10. I'm liking it, a lot. Of course, it won't be as good as FFXII in my opinion, but that's only because FFXII changed my life in a lot of ways, and I love Ashe too much. I doubt I'll be mistaken though if this ends up my 2nd favorite FF game in front of FFVIII and behind FFXII.

So all in all, FFXIII ftw! :mudkip^_^:

I can't believe I've been slacking off and not bothering to join this =O I really do love FF. I own FF VI Advance, FF V Advance, FF I & II, FF III, FF Crystal Chronicles: Rings of Fate/Echoes of Time, and I've owned FF IV Advance, FF IV for the DS, and FF XII: Revenant Wings. Oh, and I've played FF Tactics Advance and some of the older FF Gameboy games on an emulator, and I've played FF XII and FF X at my friend's house. And I've played the original Crystal Chronicles on the Gamecube before, not to mention I've watched my friend play that WiiWare FF game. Oh, and I've played a bit of both PS2 KH games as well.

But yeah. My all-time fave character would have to be either Rydia or Edge from FF IV, Locke from FF VII, or what's-her-name from FF III (I wanna say Refia, but I think that's wrong...).

And my fave class is Summoner, Ninja, Thief (or Adventurer in Locke's case XD), or Dragoon.

I hope there's enough room for me... D=

Yeah..where has she been?

To answer my own question, the router, or something, is screwing up. Now it will only let wireless devises online, such as my laptop, or the main computer. I can't figure it out, but my stepdad plays World of Warcraft from 5am to 2am so I can only get on very late at night (or very early in the morning). Its sucks but there isn't much I can do about it sadly.

Anyway, welcome to our three new members.

Also, because of recent talk of XIII in this club, I wanted to say that the resemblance between Lightning & Cloud is on purpose as Tetsuya Nomura was told to design a "female version of Cloud Strife from VII" in terms to both body and personality. Infact, if you take a still of Lightning from one of the CG sequences in the trailer and over lay it onto an image of Cloud from Advent Children in the same pose, they have essentially the same face, although Lightning's is more feminine. I saw a pic detailing this before, but I haven't been able to find it.

*I also fixed a minor mistake on my behalf. I forgot to give credit to Neo Queen Serenity for creating our beautiful Club Banner. So, again, thank you so much!

I thought I've been joined for a while? ._. I'm still not on there. Unless there's a place I officially join in, like a group, because all that's there is the FF Group which I'm already in.

Well..you've left messages, but you never actually expressed that you wanted to join by either asking something like "Can I join" or saying "I'll join up". I'll add you in though.

What?
Whos Lightning? XD
I know who Cloud is but what is this "Lightning"?
EDIT: Wait never mind, I found out, and I found out this too -Lightning's design is based from Cloud Strife as Tetsuya Nomura was asked to design a female version of him.-
