Finders keepers, losers weepers

I'd return it, simply cause it's the right thing to do. I don't need money. I would like some, of course, but I'd rather get it through legal, not messed up ways. It's kinda like blood money, you know? Besides, you might end up getting a reward, so in the end, you might get some money AND have done the right thing.

If it's a wallet with an ID then yea I'd turn it in so it could get back to the person it belongs to.
But if it's money on the ground or the wallet doesn't have any form of ID... it's mine.

Hey, why wouldn't I take it?

I can't think of anyone showing too much appreciation for the hard work it can take to turn in the wallet in the first place. They'd probably be all "oh, thx," and leave their gratitude set at that. :/ Sure that's the pessimistic way to view it, but its true; or at least in my negative views.

My guilt might get an edge over me, but overall it doesn't matter too much to me. I'd probably feel bad if they had a lot of valuable credit cards/their driver's license inside...which could change my views and make me return it. Idk. People really should get rewards for being generous, ya know?

I would give it back. I would feel so bad for taking it. I mean I didn't earn that money that money and that person did.

What do you do?
I take only the money

Do you hand it over to authority or whatever to return it?
I do hand it to authority but there will be no money in the wallet

If it weren't money but something intriguing to you, would you take it? Why or why not?
I'll see if there is a credit card in there and if there is, I will take it---if not, then I would return it to the police
