Fire Emblem (revived again)

heh... dont worry.^^ who is that anyway??? i kno Naesala... bu twho is this "Nedrag" of which you speak?
 
I'm having some difficulties with Chapter 5 in PoR. I can't seem to set everyone up in the most effective defense lineup. I keep losing characters. >>

Use Titania as a meat shield and everyone will go for her because she has no weapons equiped. Have Oscar stand next to her in the front entrance. Have Rhys on Oscar's back (possibly one tile away because there would be bows and javelins heading to you) just in case and ready to heal. Have Ike on Titania's back in case Oscar gets too weak. On the other entrace, have Gatrie guard the pathway and Shinon stand on one of the healhedge. With Shinon's supreme speed and the healhedge, he'll basically dodge anything or get 1 or 2 damage. Have Boyd stand on the other healhedge and Soren at the back of Gatrie to get some more damage going since I know Boyd and Gatrie can't do double attacks right now. Don't use steel weapons in this chapter because the enemy will end up double attacking you. If your Soren or Oscar turned out the way they should be (supreme defense for Oscar and decent speed for Soren), it'll be easier for you. Ike should be above level 10 if you want him as a replacement for Oscar when he gets too weak.

And there you have it!
 
I feel like a FE n00b, even though I owned 7 and 8, XD

These defense stages are a pain in the rear in this game, especially Chapter 8. I just got taken out on turn 7 of 8. >> Oh, and there's some chick with a name displayed on the map, do I get to talk to her? XD

It took me five tries to complete that chapter without any deaths >_<; My defenses weren't tight enough, and I wasn't using Titania and Ike enough.
 
That would be her. However, it's hard with all of those enemies in the path. >>
 
Use Ike to massacre them... his godly stats could dodge the soldier's lances... and give him steel sword by that time because his speed should be sufficient and it wouldn't matter if the soldiers double attack him because 0x2=0
 
I got PoR for my birthday a few days ago, and I've been addicted. I've been using Mia, Soren, Ilyana, Oscar, and Mist a bit too much...except for Mist, they're all at Second Class, Levels 5-10 while everyone else is about First Class, Level 15. Right now, I'm on Chapter Fifteen...Feral Frontier, I think that's the name. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew where any hidden items were, as there are usually hidden items on desert levels. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! ^^
 
And let her come to you...don't go to her. All the enemies will be slaughtered by Ike by the time she gets there...then talk, and let her do the killing. She's pretty strong right off the bat.

And Fly, your avatar is a slap in the face to FE.

I could use the seal on boyd, so if i do that, does it mean Ike can never evolve? or is it, use the master seal or wait for the proper chapter?

Oh and also i would like to know how each of your characters grow. Like i think ilyana is going to surpass soren really soon, i think she has more resistance and mag then him. I hate wasting exp on units i won't use in the end(which is why for every fire emblem game i send the main character to do all the work so they reach the highest level sooner, Ike's lv 18 with about 80 exp on the bar and i'm ch 9, idk if that's good, but i think it is, seeing how he can take out a knight with his regal sword)

lol, i do not mock you for your fancy, there are plenty of...more than decent, shall we say:P , girls in fire emblem

i'm hoping i can get to play fire emblem tomorrow, ack, i've had no time, i'm being eternally frozen in chapter 9

Have Lethe OR Mordecai stand two squares west and one square down from the map's NORHTEAST corner. Stefan will appear out of Nowhere. All other units will make him flee. That's from Nintendo Power~
