Fire Emblem (revived again)

That's my philosophy--if I like them, I don't care how good or bad they are, and sometimes they end up not phailing XD Besides, just because a character has good chances of stat growth doesn't mean they're going to phail. Most of my units phail anyway (worst FE luck ever), so the good units tend to even out with the bad ones.
My philosophy- the more the merrier. It's true, since you never know whats to come in the future, so you may require the skills of certain members later on, and you get more dialogue and crap with the more members you have~ XD

agreeing much. the characters i mostly get are the one's i think are gonna help me out more.... w/o stealing my money...XD

Have I ever said how much I love the term meatshield? It brings up such a funny image to mind...like armor made out of sausages <_<;
After the field trip to the slaughter house [only in my town folks ._.;] I can imagine Roy grabbing half a butchered cow up to an oncoming foe XD

Charactes have to prove their worth first before they get past me... well... certain characters get to bypass that just because they're cute. But otherwise... characters such as FatChap (Brom. His Japanese name was Chap, btw) and Makalov never get to see the light of day ever again because of their suckage.

Gatrie isn't even worth in my army either. In fact, all the generals in this game are just plain bad. They all fair poorly in compared to Wendy, Oswin, and Amelia... now those three have speed but these guys... I could only get their speed up to 12 at 20/20.

Oswin...he was absolute PWNAGE on my team 0_0; I just let him go up on his own and then shelter the weak characters and head up a second front~

i guess that means he was better than Hector for you.....or was he worse?? all i kno is that when Hector becomes a Great Lord, hes the best person on the game. i beat the last chap wit him and killed the-dont wanna ruin it for those who havent beaten it yet- in like...4murns!! and he was only level 5 at a Great Lord...

Eliwood gets very overshadowed by the other lords... not to mention that he's one of those lower tier lords. He'll turn out crap in an instant and he gets easily RNG raped... But that's what he turns out for me.

Hector is always the best in mine, 20/20, S level in Swords, A in axes (why S in Axes when you can get Armads?). Lyn's just fine... but she's cool anyway but a little weak. The star of FE7 has always been Canas. High critical, negates resistance, and just powerful.

Canas <33 He's almost a druid for me. But then I pushed him too far and he died >.o; Still waiting until I get over my failure complex to restart that level~

Ephraim in FE8 was actually pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised ^_^ He was much cooler without a horse though~

You sound disappointed about taking a field trip to a slaughterhouse o_O

Oswin is the grim reaper in armor...Eliwood? Bony boy on a prissy stallion with a legendary meat cleaver. They can never compare >P

Because, especially in Hector mode (>>>>>>>>Eliwood mode), you have nothing to use but axes for 90% of the game. There's no way to get him to 20/0 without having him become S in Axes. His starting stages of swordsman ship are too awkward for the kill-them-before-they-kill-you-and-no-toying-around chapters at the end of the game.

Heh...wasn't disappointed =D I'm just sad that I live in such a backwoods town ;D

Really the field trip was quite fun~ We watched it go from Live Cow -> Raw Meat. Lots'o blood. Wish I would've had a camera o________________o

But I didn't see Eliwood there...so disappointing.

Ugh...when do you think they'll announce a DS FE game? Zomg that'd be cool <33

Probably never. FE has lost a lot of popularity from FE6-present, hasn't it?

Though, even if they did, it still wouldn't be enough to get me to buy a DS. "OOOOOH It's so different I can move characters on the grid with a stylus instead of the D-Pad it's TONZ EAZIER =OOOOOO"

Aw, I think they actually will. I mean; Intelligent Systems already made a DS Advance Wars ;D

You can't get S rank in any weapon if you're not promoted. Also, I give him the emblem blade and rack up some other units, and by the time he uses up the Emblem blade, he has a C rank in Swords. By then, I give him a silver blade, which gives him 2 points of weapon exp. And by the final battle, he can use the regal blade... and it's awesome in arena battles because now he can kill almost anything. lol

Eh, forgot about the A-or-lower clause for unpromoted units.......it's been forever since I've played FE7. I've done it nine times, but it still doesn't feel like enough D:

you can heve someone get to level 20/0 wit their master weapon a lower level thatn S...i do it with Hector all the time. im on h is story on the chap. wit Linus (also known as "The Mad Dog Finger" XD). its pretty hard, but ll get thorugh it! my fav character in FE8 is definitely Lyon. ive been trying to get him forever n the bounus chapter...><

Mad Dog......Finger? o_O Where did that come from?

I'd also like to express my hatred for chapter 12 of PoR here and now. Airborne Laguz, nowhere to hide, and tons of cargo and ship rigging blocking me from getting a good camera angle.

My Ilyana is beginning to show signs of phailure *sniff*
