Fire Emblem (revived again)

I don't understand why anyone would like Rebecca in the first place...her attack has NEVER gotten over 9 at 20/0 and never gotten over 13 at 20/20 =/
 
You must've had bad luck... she always maxes out Attack, Speed and Skill for me... not to mention her supports with Dart... giving her a 15% critical boost. And Dart could get about an 80 Critical if you give him the right stuff and if the RNG likes you.
 
Actually, Will, even though he has higher caps, is actually pretty slow. And slow archers are like Generals with no defense... In fact, he gets hit pretty much often when I used him (and that was only once when I tried to get supports from him. And he rarely double hits for me.)
 
I suppose I'm just partial to Wil is because the one time I got him to 20/20 Sniper, nothing could touch him...I mean, he dodged about as well as Guy, and I was surprised. He could also pop off 25+ damage per arrow depending on who I was fighting. I was impressed.

I usually use Will~ Rebecca comes too late or something. Oh; I just remembered: I don't use archers XD Actually I have used Will in the past though. And Innes in 8.
 
Rebecca was always my favorite archer. She was hard to train, but well worth it for me. She dodged better than most of my units did and was a powerhouse.
 
I liked using Lyn for an Archer ;D

She's the lord of crapulence~ can't stand her. Never turned out as a good fighter for me; her HP was subpar always.
 
Lyn never worked for you? lyn always turned out better than eliwood for me, by speed, strength, skill, and resistance. She maxed out all of those, and i think she maxed out defense at like 20 or 21 i think. you should use a...what's it called..angelic robe on her, that's what i did seeing how she's the least "hp"ed character in the game that's actually good.
I do have to say though that Rebecca isn't as good as will. though i never end up with an archer(or nomad) in my final line up, wil is better. Rebecca always gave me one stat level ups, usually just luck or just hp, something dumb like that. i stopped using her after she never gained an str point at lv 8 o_O.
 
I think I just didn't put enough work into her~

That's probably why she didn't really get very good for me.

Lyn should always be given an Angelic Robe. It helps worlds when you fight Lundgren, as Lyn and Wallace+Heavy Spear are the only two who can damage him substantially...well, Erk, too, but the next turn Lundgren kills him with a Javelin. Also helps worlds when she gets promoted to Blade Lord. Often she'll get her second HP bar by then. Lyn <3

Hector > Lyn > Eliwood

here's how i found it in my game

in the end i chose pent cause he had slightly more mag and skill, i think one point a piece, though erk had like 3 more speed and 4 or 5 more resistance

erk had superior resistance to the rest of them, pent had excellent stats all around, and nino just failed, not to mention how impossible it is to get her up to anywhere, gosh it was such a big dissapointment
 
meh, i get Erk up to 20/20 by chapter 15 in Eliwood's regular story. by then, i pwned any one who came near me with him!^^ he's pretty awesome in my opinion if you train him enough!^^
 
I don't see how Pent could be better than Nino. Stat wise, Nino is the best mage in FE7. Pent is reliable because he has good base stats but mediocre growth stats. Erk is okay but is overshadowed by Nino and Pent. The mages are just fine but I prefer Nino because I like Est characters.. =D

(And Nino is the mother of one of my favorite Druids in FE6) ... XD
