There's always the patches in FESS or in Superbus' FE Documentary if you're interested in playing the older FE games. I'm too lazy to download them and my comp is trashy anyway...

FE9 has different kinds of frustrations than FE games that are just tactically difficult.....it ended up being the small tweaks that ruined the grand design for me.

I've beaten FE9, and there's a few things that bugged me about it.

#1 - They took away the Support endings ;_; In the others sometimes if you got an A support between a male and a female they would get married or something like that. I'd like to know what happened to these people after everything is over....

#2 Unfullfilled storyline. I'm kind of mad that they left you hanging about everything. Who was the Black Knight? Who was Sothe searching for? I want these questions answered.(I've seen boards that are mad about this as well and they all think there's going to be a sequel where everything is explained)

#3 The removal of really good classes. Shaman was one of my favorite classes in the other FE's. I liked Hero as well, and I know Greil is the only hero, but you don't even get to use him -.-;;;

#4 There's some others, but I can't think of them right now...;_;

Ewan rounds out pretty much always awesome in my files. He maxes out around 5 stats naturally as Druid and he's the only trainee not nerfed horribly in the NOA version...

plus, Rei and Sofiya can use Apocalypse. Apocalypse > All tomes. XD
