Well, what attacks does Ninetales have in common with Psychic type as of now?

Imprison, Confuse Ray, Grudge, Hypnosis and Spite.

That's already a small amount of attacks that some Psychics have, not to mention the ones in D/P.
 
Most of those are in common with Ghost as well.

But in D/P it can learn Extrasensory(as Vulpix) which is a damage dealing psychic attack so maybe.
 
Yeah I knew that some of them were similar to Ghost... but that cant be helped.

And Calm Mind and Dream Eater｡
 
What type of complimentary type would you put with a fire type?
Fire/Dark.

Yup, and it would have different Psychic attacks too, possibly Hypnosis and Dream Eater.
 
It would make Ninetales seem more mystical but would be unlikely to happen. Only two pokemon have had a element type change ever and that was Magnemite and Magneton which gained the steel type in the G/S/C generation as well as keeping thier original electric type.

True... then we wait to see if they'll introduce a new type. But psychic-ish types have been covered pretty much now...

Umm... well we were talking about if Ninetales was part Psychic type.
 
Yup, because then Ninetales would have even better attacks. But it would be weak to Ghost/Dark types.

Do you think fire pokemon would enjoy hot and spicy foods (like chilli and curry for example)? Why/Why Not?

I reckon some of them would as it would help um, burn and increase their fire power!
