Well, I dunno, but see there's no real way for Fire to be super effective against Electric.

I can check myself. Flare Drive is... *checks* Yes, Flare Drive is indeed a DP move.
Aaah.. okay. XD Guess I was wrong. Sorries~
Do you think its fair that Jolteon beats Vaporeon, and Vaporeon beats Flareon, but Flareon can't beat either? (As far as type advantages go, I mean)
Well, Flarey could beat Jolty is it had Dig... but that's it.
But they weren't there. WHY DOES GAME FREAK HAVE TO BE... uh... Firist? Like, descimination against the Fire types. WHYYYYYY
They really are. I remember someone saying that if you see a Pokemon that's fire type, you can be sure its weaker than the others or something for ingame.

But they weren't there. WHY DOES GAME FREAK HAVE TO BE... uh... Firist? Like, descimination against the Fire types. WHYYYYYY

They also desciminate against Grass and Bug Types as well I believe.

I think the only times that Fire-types get half-decent movepools is when they are dual-type, like Charizard is Fire/Flying and it has a reasonably wide movepool. But for pure Fire-types, like Torkoal, the movepool is pretty sucky. There's not much variety you can add. I think they have one of the worst movepools along with Bug, Electric and Steel.

Yes.. but like Charizard, extra weaknesses are added to it. I.e Electric and Rock types.

But I agree Fire types seem to need dual types to have better movepools, otherwise its so restricted.

Yeah, that's true about the extra weakness. Fire-types just can't seem to catch a break, can they? They should really match it up with a type that would either create no extra weaknesses, or reduce the number. Something like Fire/Dragon, taking away its weakness to Water and making it do normal damage. I think Charizard should be Fire/Dragon.

Okay, heres a nice topic for people out there

Have you ever played a character in a roleplay that was a fire pokemon(in any form)? If you have how many times have you and which character you play(ed) was your favorite and why?

I'll anwser this one later on.

Nope I havent at all.

Wow, that was easy to answer for me XD

I've never even been in the RP section. I imagine I'd either play a Fire, Dark, Ice or Psychic Pokemon if I went there.

Time to answer my own topic!

Yes, but only once and not as a true Fire pokemon. On TPM I joined a RP known as "Werepokemon: Piercing The Veil"(I think that was the name...). My character, Vince O'Manni was a champion swimmer who had his swimming career cut short, at the height of it, when he drank water comtaminated with some odd DNA and became a were-ninetales. Not only that he would change gender when he transformed into his pokemon or hybrid form and while he was transformed one of his own pokemon was attracted to him(her?). Really freaky, but was a lot of fun while it lasted.

Two. One was not a full Fire-type. In the RP 'The Crystal Flute' I played a girl who got infected with a kind of gas that mutated me into a Ninetales-hybrid. It's not locked yet, but no-ones posted in ages.
The other one, 'Nigma's Revival: Reintegration Project (PRIP)' I'm playing a baby Typhlosion who got exiled by her pack, then abandoned by a trainer, then hit by a car. Atm I'm with a new trainer. The baby Typhlosion is fun to play. She's so small she can get around easily.

I don't think so... But the character I did play had a Growlithe. And that was perhaps the only time. I don't really like to roleplay Pokemon.

A fire Pkmn in roleplay? Uh...no, I'm usually Umbry, Flygon, or Suicune, but never a fire one. I think once when I was little me and my friends would pretend we were Pokemon, and I was Arcanine, but that was a long time ago.

(P.S. CRAP! I was looking back at some of my earlier posts and I realized that for some reason I thought I clicked on a different FC. The Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon FC to be exact. O.o Sorries for my mistakeness...)

No, I never played a roleplay.

xDD 'Tis okay. Everyone makes mistakes...

Oh yeah! I remember... I roleplayed an Arcy-morph in this other forum. But that was a long time ago, and I don't even remember his name. But yeah, I never usually roleplay Pokemon.

zomg that picture is so cute! It's great ~

That's an adorable pic, Shayla. I like the expression on its face, and the colours ^^
