Firered: Skipping parts of intro

Hello!

How can I edit the intro of Firered so that it jumps to gender selection right after the title screen? And also, how can I skip player naming afterwards?

You can use GBA Intro Manager (though I do not think you will achieve a lot by using it, because what you want is not available in it), and I definitely remember there was something related to this in the Quick Research & Development Thread.

Yeah, I was able to skip player naming and rival naming following some posts in the Quick Research and Development Thread. But couldn't find something that skips everything between the title screen and the gender choosing.

And also yeah, GBA Intro Manager wasn't much help in this case though.

Added question: is there like a document or research post where each of the functions from the copyright screen up to start of the game is documented? So that I can skip parts of the intro by repointing some of the parts?

Added questions' answer: Not that I know off, no.
