Hello everyone!

I'm a fifteen year old gamer who has been playing games since I was little, including Pokemon. After a while, I stopped playing it as much as I had in the past but recently my interest has been sparked again and I decided to get back in to it.

Right now I'm working on beating a Heart Gold my friend found in working condition on the street (very lucky :D) and I have a Pokemon Black copy coming in by Tuesday. I know little to nothing about the Unova (that's what it is, right?) region, so it should be an experience.

As a side project I'm also trying to chain in a shiny Ralts on Pokemon Pearl. So far there hasn't been much luck, if anyone has any tips please do let me know! I got many repels and such, but out of the two time I've gotten Ralts both have been broken by every sparkling grass looking the same! Hopefully it will be a female if I ever do find one, as I prefer a female Gardevoir. If male I will most likely make it a Gallade.

Anyway, I found this community when googling "Pokemon Forums" or "Pokemon Community", whichever it was this was one of the top results and I decided to check it out.

While Gardevoir is one of my favorites, my actual favorite pokemon is Mudkip. I still have a level 80 one to prove it. (Got a level 100 Swampert though. There's a nice backstory to that Pokemon though, maybe I'll share it sometime. Ask me on my profile and I will ;) )

My favorite region is Hoenn.

I am a Brony, Fluttershy is my favorite as you can see.

AAAAAA! A BRONY! RUN! lol j/k, you'll find plenty of those here on PC haha. This is quite an intro you've made here! Very few go to this amount of effort XD. I don't know if I would be able to go shiny hunting - it seems like a huge commitment to me, so I applaud you for having the patience :P. Good luck with finding your Ralts!

If you're into the Hoenn region, I bet you're excited for the upcoming Ruby/Sapphire remakes (that have not even been announced yet lmao). I found this forum 18 months ago while Googling those remakes... 18 months later, still nothing :(. Oh well, all in time!

And I herd u liek Mudkipz? That was my starter back in Ruby (I even got a female one back then). I sure have fond memories of it.

So, you love Hoenn best? I'm more of a Unova girl.

I wish you good luck on your upcoming playthrough of Black, it has a nice story and I chose it over White cos I loved the version exclusives better than White's.

Also, good luck with your ongoing HeartGold playthrough. I played through SoulSilver and it was fun given all the nostalgic feelings from it.

Since you love My Little Pony, you should check out Other Clubs. There's a MLP fanclub over there. The Pokemon Gaming areas are also worth checking out since they are active.

You guys found HG on the street? That's truly really lucky; saves you a lot of money! n__n finders keepers! Black/White were really great games in my opinion, the animated sprites gave everything a different feel entirely.

Although I'm not as into MLP as I used to be, Fluttershy is also my favorite, so we have that in common.

Anyway, wlcome to PC, Josh! :D I'll admit you seem super cool from reading your intro, so I really hope you continue to stick around the forum. Have fun around here~!

Thanks, yeah I know what you mean. Being a Brony seems a lot more exciting at first, but over time it becomes, well, less. I still enjoy the community though, just not in as many aspects as before.

Also, I got a hatched shiny female Ralts :D
