Fossils revived - reeeally?

I like the fossils. Never really noticed that they were all rock types. xD I'm glad there aren't a lot of fossil pokemon. If there were to many, it wouldn't feel as "special" to me.

how come there are so few species of fossils found, and why are they all rock type? Just because their DNA was saved in a rock doesn't mean their pokémon type would have to be rock, imo.​

This, so much. I never liked the fact they where ALL Rock type somehow. I don't mind the fossils, except when they where frequent in mining in D, P, PT. It didn't make thrm very special.

I think reviving fossils is a cool concept. This could stem from the fact that I liked the Jurassic Park movies, which used a similar method.
