Fourth Starters

In the Pokemon games, I feel there are unofficial lines of Pokemon that effectively stand in as "fourth" starter Pokemon. In the Kanto games, we got Pikachu in Yellow and Let's Go and eventually Eevee in her own Let's Go title as Kanto's fifth starter.

I feel Pokemon like Riolu-Lucario and Rockruff-Lycanroc (my personal inspiration for this post) serve as perfect fourth starters for the Sinnoh and Alola Regions respectively. Particularly given their importance to Ash in the Anime/Movies at various points.

My question is, are there any other Pokemon you would consider perfect fourth starters?
Maybe the Ralts line (even the branching line) for Hoenn or Zorua-Zoroark on Unova.

What do you guys think?

For me:

Gen 1:
Clefairy
Meowth

Gen 2:
Mareep

Gen 4:
Riolu
Shinx

Gen 5:
Zorua

I can't think of others from other generations off the top of my head, but these would make really good starters! Even if some of them are not as strong as others (Meowth), I can see it working. (b' ')b

Mostly just Zorua, Pikachu, and Eevee. Placed more importance on Zorua in Generation 5. Had Eevee and Pikachu as actual starters in Let's Go (and Yellow for Pikachu).

As Pikachu was the original "fourth starter" in Yellow, other fourth starters in games could have been anything that could be considered a Pikachu clone, such as:

Gen 3: Plusle/Minun
Gen 4: Pachirisu
Gen 5: Emolga
Gen 6: Dedenne
Gen 7: Mimikyu/Togedemaru
Gen 8: Morpeko
Gen 9: Pawmi

Some obviously better than others, but they could also be special partner Pokémon with a unique stat total like the LGPE starters, also with no evolution for Pawmi

Doubt there would be a perfect 4th starter candidate, but I tried to make a list for Pokemon that imo could be starters vibe wise, that are also 3 stage lines.

Gen 1: Nidoran
Gen 2: Mareep
Gen 3: Whismur
Gen 4: Shinx
Gen 5: Lillipup
Gen 6: Flabébé
Gen 7: Bounsweet
Gen 8: Hatenna / Impidimp
Gen 9: Pawmi
