6th Gen France and X/Y

This weekend I am going to france. Do you think my knowledge of the pokemon x/y map will help me at all?

I'm not really sure how it would? The X/Y world is merely based off the culture of France, the physicality of France i'm sure looks nothing like the X/Y world.

well they have an eiffel tower in the game. maybe i'll see that floating girl on the 2nd floor of an office building :')

No, some places and names are based off of or in France, but that's it.

would i show them all the kalos dexes complete on my pokemon Y copy? or would i have to be upset i don't have a real pokedex?

the shape of the map, and locations of Coastal and mountain parts all relate to France....

I really don't think Pokémon X/Y represents France exactly as it is. Maybe you'll know a little more about the geography (especially if you read this: Pokémon world in relation to the real world#Kalos) , but that's pretty much it. And then, a lot of major French cities aren't represented in Kalos.

Seeing as visiting France didn't help me with Lumiose, I don't think it'll work the other way around haha.
