This is my first attempt at an NU team so I expect it to be a bit nubbish. This team did fairly well on Shoddy but not that great since I'm still new to NU and all.

    [PokeCommunity.com] Freaky's First NU RMT

    Shuckle @ Leftovers
    Ability: Gluttony
    Impish nature
    EVs: 248 HP/124 Def/124 SpD/8 Spd
    -Rest
    -Acupressure
    -Stealth Rock
    -Toxic

Shuckle's job is to set up Stealth Rock then just be annoying from there on. Toxic+Rest for some stall action. Acupressure there hoping to get a Defense or Special Defense boost.

    Persian @ Life Orb
    Ability: Technician
    Timid nature
    EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spd
    -Nasty Plot
    -Swift
    -Water Pulse
    -Hidden Power Dark (59 BP)

Standard NP Persian is standard. Swift is its main STAB move. Water Pulse prevents Rocks and Steels from walling. HP Dark prevents Ghosts from walling.

    Arbok @ Choice Band
    Ability: Intimidate
    Jolly nature
    EVs: 56 HP/252 Atk/200 Spd
    -Gunk Shot
    -Earthquake
    -Crunch
    -Seed Bomb

CB Arbok does some heavy damage with +1 Gunk Shot. It's other moves are to complement its STAB move coverage wise.

    Porygon-2 @ Leftovers
    Timid nature
    Ability: Trace
    EVs: 252 HP/60 Def/136 SAtk/60 SpD/
    -Charge Beam
    -Ice Beam
    -Tri Attack
    -Recover

This Pory2 will become a dangerous tank after about two Charge Beam boosts. Tri Attack is its STAB and it has BoltBeam for whatever it can't hit with its STAB. Recover lets it get on going.

    Gardevoir @ Choice Specs
    Ability: Synchronize
    Timid nature
    EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spd
    -Psychic
    -Focus Blast
    -Shadow Ball
    -Trick

This set is at risk of being Pursuit bait but if she Tricks Specs onto the opposing Pursuit user, the move probably won't OHKO if she stays in allowing her to score massive damage with Focus Blast.

    Magmortar @ Expert Belt
    Mild nature
    EVs: 84 Atk/252 SAtk/172 Spd
    -Lava Plume
    -Thunderbolt
    -Hidden Power Ice
    -Cross Chop

This set is almost impossible to switch into if the user predicts right. Note this set has a Speed IV of 30 in order to have HP Ice. Lava Plume over Flamethrower for some burn hax action.

Fire Blast >> Lava Plume on Magmortar, also Hidden Power [Grass] is preferred now, since more people are running stuff like Whiscash and Quaggy to wall Magmortar.

Gardevoir is outclassed by Espeon in every aspect with that set, use Espeon or at least give it something more reliable than Focus Blast (Hidden Power [Fighting] for instance). If you run Espeon, use Hidden Power [Ground] so that Skunktank won't Pursuit you.

Shuckle is pretty bad, imo Armaldo makes a better lead, and has access to Rapid Spin and Rock Blast (for breaking subs), and can run a set similar to Shuckle.

    Armaldo @ Leftovers
    Careful Nature
    252HP/136Atk/120Def
    -Rock Blast
    -Toxic
    -Stealth Rock
    -Rapid Spin

Careful is just for a little S-Def boost so I don't die to crap like Fire Blast. Rock Blast is for breaking subs/killing stuff and its prett fun to use. Rapid Spin is for spinning rapidly. Toxic is for poisoning/just being a pain in the arse.

Fancy use of Persian, I like it.

I'm not sure about Arbok, since I've never used it, so I'll assume its good lol.

    Good luck.

Armaldo is probably better than Shuckle. And I'll try out Espeon and HP Grass on Magmortar. But why Fire Blast? So I can get miss haxed to death?

Fire Blast is stronger than Lava Plume, since you don't have maxed out Sp.Atk it does more damage. [/captainobvious] Iunno really, I just use it, I've never had problems with it missing too often. I guess if you feel that higher burn rate pays off more then use Lava Plume, I guess it depends on the player, you could always just use Flamethrower and go for more power than Lava Plume and better accuracy than Fire Blast.

Well the Smogon analysis said to use Lava Plume > Flamethrower for the burn chance.

Espeon might have advantages over Gardevoir but the loss of Focus Blast is concerining. A drop from 120 BP to 70 BP (HP Fighting) is steep indeed.

For shuckle I'd have to say if you are comfortable with its defenses, take out accupressure and put in sandstorm. It may be a bit risky for your other pokemon, but it would be a better staller, that is if you keep it. Gamer pretty much summed up my thoughts. :D

Okay so I guess to opinion here to use Fire Blast on Magmortar so that's what I will do.

I'd say Wrap can be used over Pressure. It nullifies Leftovers recovery and stops opponent from switching out.
Also, why did you give Shuckle spe EVs? it won't be outspeeding anything. Even if it ties with something it probably won't be able to do too much damage to it. Give it max HP evs since it has terrible base HP.
I'm pretty sure Armaldo has terrible typing making it quite bad and useless. I'd say Sandslash is a better SR + spinner.

Also, consider Espeon over Gardevoir. AS MUCH AS I LOVE HER Espeon is better.
