Okay, I can't stand it anymore. I hate people who add me on PC as friend because of reasons unknown. Is it because I have a large post count? Is it because I speak the truth? These are two questions that constantly come into my head.

I'm sorry but NO. I will not accept your friend request if I do not know you and have never been affiliated with me. If you manage to have a conversation over Private Messages or Visitor Messages on my profile you may have a chance if you keep me interested. Adding me on Windows Live Messenger is an almost guaranteed NO if you don't ask before adding me.

Unlike most people on PC, I only have friends on my friends list; not random people. I don't believe establishing a friendship is possible simply by request. I can't go to Kevin Rudd and ask him to be my friend can I?

Just go to your CP and go under profile privacy and disable the option of "befriend eon-rider"

    :/ it's nawt that hard.

    Sorry, I'm dumb. I can't find the "befriend eon-rider" option. =\
That's because there isn't an option to disable friend requests.

~Momo Uchiha~, know what you're talking about before you tell others how to do things and then say how it "isn't that hard."

I'm with you on this one.

And Momo might be referring to the "Friends" part of Profile Privacy, but that only hides who's on your friends list XD It also means that people who would normally click on "Add Eon-Rider to contacts" in that Friends tab can't add you while viewing your profile if you have the Friends tab viewable only to friends/contacts. But they still can add you via your posts.

I think. Not too sure on that one.

That just makes them unable to see your friends. They'll still be able to add you as a friend by going to their "user lists" in their profile.

Anyway, I completely agree with Eon-Rider here. I used to do that, but then after seeing all the people I had on my friends list and how much of them I never talked to, it was a really bad decision I made to just accept people as friends before talking to them. That's why I erased everyone from my friends list and tried re-adding people that I actually talk to still.

Yeah, I've had a couple or random friend requests, and they really bug me, especially when they whine afterwards that you rejected their request. I mean, I've had a couple of friendships develop from random friend requests that I accepted when I was new and didn't know any better, but on the whole they're just annoying.

They can also manually add you on their contacts manager page. Meh, I really wouldn't know if it hides everything since it doesn't really apply to me, so.

I've been using the hide friends tab thing for ages and it works really well, since I barely get friend requests now :D

Also lol I want to be friends with Kevin Rudd :(
