    Which year did you form the closest friendships with people?

    Right now I can safely say that almost all of my closest friendships (or became friends with the people I'm closest with now) were formed in 08, with only one or two exclusions from that.
     
    I would say 2008 would have been a good year for friendships for me. And maybe the 2 years before that as well. But 2008 would have been the strongest year for me because the friendships I already had, had grown stronger by that year. Although to be honest, I say it differs. But 08 holds a lot of memories for me, and I realised what true friendship really is.
     
    2003 I met a friend and were close now, I don't care for many friends I'm fine with one good one.
     
    Started in 2009. We're still close friends, but rarely talk... (that would have to be for the fact that I rarely get on MSN. ;;) 2010, I made more friends I'm close with too. :D So, it's a 2009-present sort of thing. :)
     
    2006 was when I was when I had the most friends and the most conversations with everyone. Slowly from there, they drifted away one by one...
     
    This year, for definate. Though in 2009 (when I joined) I met a couple of people who I am still good friends with now. Though I have formed most of my 'close' friendships this year since returning to PC.
     
    I would have to say start of Secondary School (High School for you Americans.)
    And the start of University as well. In a different part of England so new friends :3

    The start of University was 3 years ago now. Oh how I feel old! XD
     
    I've never been the kind of person to form strong friendships. I simply want more of time for personal hobbies and my education. I do not give social time much of a priority. I do tend to meet and greet a few people once in a while, but usually they're gone withing a few months.
     
    I can't say I've been able to form many *strong* friendships at PC...even if I'm strongly attached to someone because I really respect them as a friend...but I think there are a few friendships forming slowly now...I'll just kinda have to wait and see how they pan out.

    Really I've been lucky. I've made friends throughout my PC life and most of them manage to at least stay my friends even if we don't talk much.

    I'm not one to mark a friend entirely lost just because we don't talk anymore...though I can't say they're a close friend if we don't talk much.
     
    I have to agree with the poster above me and say that I haven't been able to form any real 'strong' friendships with any members here on PokéCommunity. I have a couple of friends here, but I don't talk to them often enough. This has mostly been my fault, due to school work and other responsibilities keeping me away from socialising here. I look to change that after my exams in June so, hopefully, 2011 will be a good year in which I can form strong friendships with members of this community.
     
    On PC, I'd say 2009 and 2010; however, I knew several friends from elsewhere before I joined PC that remain as my friends here today.

    IRL, definitely the end of 10th grade and the beginning of 11th.
