Episode 3...

Mother! ^_^ Been forever since I've seen that ep.

Starting from episode 3, we'll be seeing how Ed and Al came to be what they are now and what they had to endure together. This'll be going on through upto episode 9, then we go back to the after-Lior events in episode 10.

Well, these is when the flashback episodes start. XD

Trust me. FMA's gonna grow really dark and serious starting in the 20s then it'll lose its comedy factor around the 40s and become a completely serious series. It's all really good though, so its best to enjoy it while it has its comic factor.
Makes me think of how Trigun played out - hilarious to serious.

From what I've heard, Vic's young Ed doesn't sound too promising. :\ I think the reason Romi Paku does such an amazing job is because she's played different roles and has experience with them. She's done the role of a kid and teen (Ichijouji Ken/Dejimon Kaziaa from Digimon is a perfect example).

Al, on the other hand, sounds absolutely perfect as a human child. o_o;

I dunno, I didn't think Ed sounded TOO bad in the bit at the end of the last episode, though it probably will be intresting hearing a 6 or so year old child with a deep-ish voice XD It probably would have been better if they had cast another child actor to do Ed though (*Like how they had child actors for the flashbacks in Fruits Basket to play the characters when they were children*) but never mind, I'm sure Vic tried his best to sound younger ^^;
But yes I agree with your comment on Al's VA, he sounded perfect as little human Al X3 Eeee! The cuteness!
"Brother made it! Isn't it awesome! I can still only do this one, hehe" I pretty much almost keeled over and died of the cuteness coming from that quote X3

I give props to Al's VA. Still hoping improvement from Ed's. Though they better not give Roy some cheesy voice acting...same goes for Scar...

I'm more afraid for Armstrong. Chris Sabat (VA for Vegeta/Piccolo/Yamcha/Kuawabara/every secondary character) is doing the voice of Armstrong. T_T; I can't imagine how that'll go.

I'm also hoping that they don't decide to give the Ishbalites any weird accents or something. @_o; Here's to wishing for the best for the future of FMA considering they're doing good so far.

FMA03 is out tonight!~

Be sure to watch~!

What the hell is with Winry's voice? x_x

They also said that Winry's parents were "suprise attacked" which isn't exactly true. They were killed on the spot. They also made it sound like they were soldiers or something.

Spoiler: Spoilers
Roy's voice is *______*

Surprise attack???!! That's a load of BS!

Spoiler: SPOILER! NEWBIES DO NOT CLICK

Exactly my point.
Spoiler: Semi-Spoiler

I liked Roy's voice. If his voice actor can give him the same cocky attitude the original had, he's perfect.

Thanks for the weekly episode post, JK. I'll be doing my weekly comparison later today.

Not really looking forward to next week's episode. The Majhal episode's pretty dul after you've seen it so many times. x_x;

Weekly episode post? XD I guess I'll keep at it then. XD

And I liked #3. It felt all warm and fuzzy. =3
