2nd Gen G/S/C - Common Pokemon Challenge

made it to ecruteak
Sergeant evolved
got surf from the guy watching the strippers that i beat.
lost to the ghost gym guy (team was in low to mid 20s)
trained my team to level 30
beat the leader with Lieutenant
went to olivine and the lighthouse
went to the top and fell down
surfed to cianwood
beat chuck
got the potion and gave it to jasmine
and then i beat the HELL out of her.
went to mahogany and did all that stuff
beat pryce with Captain
did all the annoying team rocket stuff in goldenrod
made it through ice cave
beat alll the gym trainers and 3 of clair's pokemon with Captain
and then Sergeant cleaned up

Update 1

  • I named myself NECRO
  • chose totodile as starter
  • obtained map card at cherrygrove city
  • obtained some berries and mystery egg
  • battled rival and win
  • returned to elm's lab and named my rival SAGA
  • delivered the egg to elm and received pokeballs
  • defeated some a trainer in my way to catch a bellsprout and a zubat
  • dropped totodile at violet pc
  • battled skipped trainer in the route before violet and it was a bit hard because the bugs pkmns and the moves of mines
  • cleared sprout tower
  • i battled the fir guy of the gym, he won easily
  • trained like 20 min in the grass
  • defeated the gym trainers but falkner defeated 5 times
  • trained some more until zubat learned bite, then falkner was pretty easy
  • saved a t violet

If you are using an emulator like VBA, you can take screenshots with the the default F12 (I think) or just you could assign a another key for that function in the joypad configuration. But screenshots are no necessary.
 
Really Short Update

- Caught a level five Growlithe on Route 36
- Completed the first panel in the Runes of Alph, and as a result, fell through the floor.
- Trained whole team to level thirteen, and then headed out to Sprout Tower.
- Destroyed the poor old men and recieved HM 5 [Flash]
- Caught a level five Bellsprout as a HM Slave [Cut, Flash]
- Raised team to level fifteen, entered Violet City Gym, and obliterated everyone.
- Received Zephrybadge.
- Recieved Pokemon egg from Prof. Elm's assistant.
- Started training on Route 32.
- Chikorita evolved into Bayleef.
- Went through Union Cave and arrived in Azalea Town.
- Beat up Team Rocket in Slowpoke's Well.
- Saved my game, as my batteries were dying.

update 2:

  • captured a ekans before entering union cave, and named it venonny
  • made it through union cave and defeated some trainers
  • reached azalea town and talked to kurt
  • entered to the slow pokewell and crushed the rockets
  • went to the gym and i got a hard time beating the trainers because no one of my pokemons moves were effective to the bugs pokemons
  • trained a little bit in the grass until ekans learned poison sting
  • beated bugsy and his bug pokemons
  • beated rival and entered ilex forest
  • rescued the pokemon and got cut
  • captured a paras [hm slave] and i pass through the forest
  • defeated all trainers before goldenrod city
  • saved in golden rod

i forgot to mention that i registered gina's number so she called me and told me that she picked up some thing and was a leaf stone so i can evolve my bellsprout earlier =)

- Mystery egg hatched into Togepi
- Raised team to level 20
- Put Togepi in Storage, as I didn't feel like walking all the way back to New Bark Town
- Took care of Bugsy and received the Hivebadge
- Easily beat Rival
- Received HM 1 [Cut] from the charcoal man
- Got through Ilex Forest
- Received Odd Egg from Daycare Man.
- Entered Goldenrod City
- Received bicycle
- Raised team to level 25
- Battled my way through Route 35
- Odd Egg hatched into Smoochum
- Dropped Smoochum in Storage
- Cleared National Park Trainers
- Trained team to level 30
- Beat Whitney and received Plainbadge
- Received Squirtbottle
- Sprayed Sudowoodo in the face and got attacked as the result
- Arrived in Ecruteak City

update 3

  • before i face whitney i decided to train my pokemon until they evolve so i trained at the route that is above goldenrod
  • also i trained at the national park where my zubat evolved, then the route that is east of the park battled a psychic and my bellsprout evolved the i evolved again into a victribell with the leaf stone that Gina gave me
  • trained a little more my ekans
  • back in gondenrod i tried to defeat whitney but i fail, until my 4th try
  • defeated whitney and saved at PC

It's been a while since my last update, and I have done quite a bit.

I have beaten the E4 and all of the Kanto leaders so all that remains is defeating Red.
I attempted once already and his Snorlax did some damage, by the time I beat it I was too weak to press on. Further training is needed.

That seemed a tad bit uncalled for. I didn't feel the message was Stupid, Pointless, or Annoying, but oh well...:pink_sneeze:

Both SplashyPQR and ShockerPQR are now Lvl 67.
I am going to train them both to 70 before facing Red again, just for the heck of it.

EDIT: Everyone else has stayed the same since I don't fight with them...
