2nd Gen G/S/C Monotype Challenge

Where in G/C/S can you catch a Houndour in Johoto?
 
Oh, ok.

Well I just caught a Pidgey (lv2) and put my Cyndaquil in the PC. I marched through route 30, and 31, on my way to the Dark Cave, where hopefully i can snag a Zubat

I beat the spout tower, with Zubat, which was weird because i had no pp, so literally i "struggled" through it.

Then i turned around and beat Falkner with Pidgey. going to save, and continue later. Hopefully i can snag a butterfree and beedrill though

Sneasel is my physical attacker and a nice speeder he just go in to sweap.
 
i hate rock types soooooo much. that was probably the most difficult monotype i've ever done. and i've done quite a few.

my battle with red:
-Pikachu: went down with one earthquake from knoss, but managed to charm it first, so even though the earthquake killed pikachu, it wouldn't do much to espeon.
-Espeon: switched to Awesome and accidentally used bubblebeam instead of ancient power, so she got killed. Woody tried rock slide, and it did a good amount, but was killed the next turn. knoss finished it with an earthquake, but was taken down to the yellow.
-Venasaur: it would've caused more problems if i didn't have an aerodactyl. i used wing attack on its sunny day turn and then flew to avoid the solar beam.
-Blastoise: blastoise was the worst. i figured it would use rain dance to begin, so i used wing attack, but it used blizzard instead, almost killing AEROY. i flew and did a little more damage before dying. AEROY was revived, and knoss was killed. he did some more damage to the blastoise before getting taken out AGAIN. so i revived AGAIN with SHUCKIE which also died. i finally managed to end blastoise though.
-Snorlax: also annoying. it paralyzed AEROY to begin with, so i had to heal and cure the paralysis. then i started firing off ancient powers, hoping for the stat boost, which i got. i healed again and got it down to yellow before it rested. then it took 3 wing attacks before going down.
-Charizard: wing attack brought it to half hp, and then i closed with hyper beam because it felt right.

i guess it wasn't THAT hard as far as red battles go, but it was the hardest it's ever been for me :\

eh, i started.
-sharked in a delibird, caught one, named it "omg santa!"
-grinded the HELL out of it.
-managed to beat falkner very easily. didn't have any healing presents.
-taught omg santa! mud-slap so she could damage rock types.
-also taught omg santa! swift so she would suck less.
-scared some rockets away from a well
-beat bugsy pretty easily as well
-beat my rival
-and then i beat whitney too. omg santa! was down to 10 hp from miltank's rollouts (yay 4x weakness to rock! :D), so i used mud-slap and the following rollout missed (!!!). then i murdered it.

fun fact: delibird is unable to learn ice punch in this generation. that's actually not a very fun fact, it's just unfortunate for me.

ok, so since last time, i beat morty, chuck, jasmine, and pryce.

the only one that gave me trouble was jasmine. the two magnemites were taken out by one mud-slap each, but the steelix, he was not. iron tail is death for omg santa! so i kept using mud-slap, not thinking i'd be able to beat it. my first attempt failed because it got in one too many iron tails, but the second try, somehow, i beat it with mud-slap (and an ether). amazing. and then i caught a seel (cow) and evolved it.
