2nd Gen G/S/C Poke-Duo Challenge

Chose Cyndaquil as starter
Named Cyndaquil(F) Tempest
Raised Cyndaquil to lvl 9
Cyndaquil got poisoned by a weedle...
Whited out at the pokemon center checkstand... (I was at the tile to talk to the pokemon center nurse too...)
 
UPDATE 1: I'll update after each badge that I get.


Got Totodile from Elm
Went and got the Egg and Pokedex
Battled rival and went to Elm
Got some Pokeballs and caught Sentret
Made it to Violet city and healed up
Went to Sprout Tower and got Flash HM
Battled the gym trainers and beat Falkner
GOT THE ZEYPHER BADGE!!
Healed and saved.

I got my Cyndaquil from Elm, and named him Mufasa (I couldn't think of anything else)
I beat 2 pidgeys and Mufasa learned Smoke Screen
Took The old dude's tour
Talked to Oak
lost to my rival wasn't paying attention
Named my rival ???!
Said no to my Mom saving money
Lol Mufasa needs 1 xp till lvl 8
Back in cherrygrove, saving, and quiting for now

Eventually I'll have sentret learn (Cut, Possibly surf)
Hoothoot for fly and flash
And that's all I have planned for now.

Started again, got to Violet city.
At the top floor of bellsprout tower, Mufasa Evolved.
Finished off the old dude.
Beat Falkner.
Got My old rod so I can get Magikarp.
Caught a lvl 10 Magikarp, named him Useless.
Caught a Geodude as an hmslave.
Had to potion on the trainer outside of the cave.
Beat Team Rocket.
Beat Bugsy.
USELESS LEARNED TACKLE! After I beat croconaw with my Quilava.
Beat my rival.
Taught cut to Sentret.
Made it to Goldenrod City.
Took the radio quiz thing, got the radio.
Went to the gym.
Went out of the gym to train some more.
Went back to the gym, and ember'ed to victory.

I'm done for now. Mabye.

-Got my Cyndaquil from Professor Elm; named him Pyro since everyone else named theirs -.-
-Trained Pyro a bit, but tackle ALWAYS missed >:O!

Phanpy is obtainable from Route 46 (the one with the impassable ledges at the beginning of the game). I was gonna ask you about it but decided not to question your judgement. Unless I can call dibs on him now (so I'd be Chikorita/Phanpy) and use my Mareep as a junk pokemon (because I haven't leveled her up yet). xD If not, that's cool.

Anyhow, here's the journey so far...

- Started Game, obtained female Chikorita, named her Viridian.
- Raised her a bit, to level 8.
- Fought rival, named him Markus.
- Raised Viridian to lvl 10
- Got to Violet city, fought at the Sprout tower, finished it at lvl 14.
- Fought Falkner's Gym, finished at lvl 15, obtained badge.
- Tried unsuccessfully to catch some Mareep, Viridian evolved into Bayleef in the process.
- Finally caught a Mareep. Named her Rivka. (Again, dunno if I'm keeping her.)

I'm sorry to jump in like this. I just have to say, this is an incredible idea. I wish I got to participate, unfortunately I'll be unable. I'll be sure to root everyone on and subscribe to this thread to keep up to date with you guys. So, good luck. XD I'm betting that Jax takes the cake at the end. *shot* Again, great idea to have a fun, tough, challenge for the community, BB! G/S/C is probably one of the best gens to do this due to it having the lowest level rate up to the E4 and the fact it goes past 8 gyms. I think it'll get a whole lot tougher after the E4. ;D Have fun everyone. :D Hey, maybe I'll be able to join in future events as well.

If you go along the first route, there's a building next to the fat guy who talks about saving his progress. Go through the building, and you'll come upon a patch of grass with a ledge above it. During the morning and (i think) daytime, you'll rarely find Phanpys. You can also get Geodude and Spearow there a lot more commonly.
 
Update 2 of Atlas' Quest.
Bested both Bugsy and Falkner with nothing but ember.
Took me forever to find a male HERACROSS, but the 6th to drop out of the tree was male, and so I caught him with a fast ball, and named him Hercules.
Caught an ODDISH to use as an HM slave for Cut and Flash.
Hatched a TOGEPI, kept with party for lulz.

Team:
Lv. 25 QUILAVA "Tempest"
Lv. 5 TOGEPI
Lv. 10 HERACROSS "Hercules"
Lv. 7 ODISH


2 HERACROSS, a PSYDUCK and an AIPALM in the box.
 
UPDATE 2:My second day of the challenge.

While on my journey, i walked down Route 32, battling trainers and pokemon.
I got through Union Cave and got the Swift TM.
I rescued the Slowpokes in Slowpoke Well.
I battled the gym trainers and defeated Bugsy.
I GOT THE HIVE BADGE.
Totodile and Sentret evolved.
I beat my rival Silver.
Healed up and saved.

- Raised Rivka to lvl 10, defeated all route 32 trainers by lvl 13.
- Got through Union Cave, grabbed Swift TM, Rivka evolved into Flaafy at lvl 15.

My Ampharos"Einstein" and Feralagater"Viking" were pretty powerful together when I played gold...

May I suggest thunderpunch for your FLAFFY. TM41 is available to buy in Goldenrod.
 
Ok I made sure that Repete learned Ember before battling my rival. Didn't take one piece of damage from him, thanks to smokescreen.
Got back to New Bark, Got my poke balls, and headed towards violet to train
After beating up wade, Repete evolved into Quilava. Sweet!
Saved game.

Update 3: On my third day of my so-called "journey".:P

First off i saved the Farfetch'd and got Cut HM.
Caught a Paras for HM 1 and HM 5.
Got Headbutt TM and taught it to Furret.
Battled all of the trainers on Route 34 and got the Odd Egg from the Old man.
Went shopping and bought Ice punch for Croconaw and Thunderpunch for Furret.
Battled the trainers on Route 35.
Went to the gym and defeated Whitney on the first try.I froze her Miltank with Ice punch.
I GOT THE PLAINBADGE!
Got the SquirtBottle and captured Sudowoodo.
Got RockSmash TM.
Healed and Saved.
