G/S Remake for Special? Should it happen?

Well that is your opinion I do not consider the outfit of the girl character in HGSS to be ugly and I actually taking a liking to it. I am starting think that they are most likely is going to happen is that Crystal will just wear the girls clothes. She already had brown hair in her debut in Pokemon Special it is shown in the Netkun's gallery in the 01st, 03rd, 04th, 05th, 09th, and 54th pictures. The official source never state that the girl was a new character as of yet nor did they state whether the boy was the sameone from the GSC game even though he resembles him greatly. They did not even say that the rival is the same either even though he resembles the rival from the GSC game greatly as well. People could idenify them very easily because of massive similarities they share with the character from GSC. I think that she should wear the clothes anyway even if this turn out not to be a redesign of her game couterpart or not. Not only will they have to think up a name of this character even if she becomes a dex holder but they will also decide what game version to name her after since there are no more fourth generation games left, color her eyes would be based off that game version and what Pokemon starter she will receive based on region, and they also have to develop a personality for this girl. I wonder of why Crystal had brown hair initially, was it because her game counterpart was originally intended have brown hair, was it because her brown hair was inspiration from another character, or was it simply for a random reason? I am not trying to be mean or anything but it even has not been decided in the games whether this was a redesign or her game counterpart and I see it as a more relevant to debate if the girl in the HGSS games is a redesign for the Crystal girl or if she is a different character in the game canon since it is the original Pokemon canon and compare to the game canon Pokemon Special is a very distinct canon even more distinct than the anime in terms of relationship and it is not even the only Pokemon manga nor was it the first Pokemon manga.

I already know about all of the Netkun/PokeSupe art. That's why I said that they are probably going to make them the same person. Her hair was initially brown because they wanted all their hair colors seem natural. Notice how they decided to go with Ruby wearing a hat instead of Ruby having white hair because it means that his hair color is a natural shade of black. I also think that whether this girl is totally new or a complete remake is up to debate. Bulbapedia is edited by fans. This does not make the speculation they write confirmed. If it's still Kris/Crystal, then I'll be plenty happy, even if her hair color isn't the same.

Yellow is actually the name in the game version and she was most likely created because the Pokemon Special writers all of the rival and protagonist have been used from Pokemon Red, Green, and Blue and they wanted and they want to create another character and name her after that game version. Pikachu was actually a starter in Pokemon Yellow unlike Pichu is in this game. There are two Pichus who play major roles in the HGSS games but they are not starters. Emerald was create because decided to create another character to name after the third version of the third generation games instead using Wally.

Then again it is all up to the Pokemon Special writer what they should do with the design. I was just voices my thoughts on the situation based on my analysis.

I'd happily love to point out that the pixel art used for the trainer for Yellow, is the exact same one for Red in Mt. Silver in GSC except recolored and flipped. This shows that Yellow is supposed to be Red, but the manga creators decided against it. The creation of a new character was pointless, but whatever gets your ratings up man. The problem is that is new girl really is a new girl, she needs a name, not a persona. She wouldn't really have a starter either since you can't choose Pichu as one.

This thread is for us to talk about the possibilities and plots of a HG/SS arc in the manga. There is another thread to debate and talk about the new girl. While I know we have to mention her in conversation, since she IS part of the game, she shouldn't be the topic of an entire post.

In general, the new Pokespe outfits didn't appeal to me at first, but I have to admit I'd love to see Gold in those new pants of his...XD

Other then that, I wonder which legendaries will appear in this (Hopefully) new arc? My guesses would be Manaphy, maybe Arceus. Although whether or not he will appear at all is debatable...I mean, how the heck would the writers try to fit 'Creator of the Universe' into a manga? O.o My brain aches just trying to think about it...

I apologize I was just frustrated about the fansites announcing that the girl was a different character, but when I found later that it has only been their assumptions that kind of irked me because they posted unverified claims. If she is a different character I am willing to accepted it on my own if it is actually proven though. I really do not intented to sound rule, but if I did I wil try to be more himble when I am discussing topics.About the of the part of the conversation I was just until the next quote I was talking in genaral. I think that Cythnia would appeared in the Shinto Ruins as well with Arceus in the Shinto Ruins and the Notched-Ear Pichu and the Pikachu-Colored Pichu might have a role since they are even Pokemon. How will Jirachi appear in the arc. Manaphy could appear in the HGSS arc somewhere, but I would what role it would play. I think that Phione could appear in the arc as well if Manaphy and a Ditto are together. So since Blue has a Ditto it could work somehow.

There is a high chance there will be an arc. Though they have to use an antagonist besides Team Rocket because they were defeated in FR/LG. IDK about Sird/Stork(probably died after be frozen by her legs or somewhat)

Not necessarily and since Team Rocket are the villians in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver they will most likely be in the Pokemon Special adaption and there really is no 100% certainty that Giovanni has change and even if he is not the villian in the HGSS arc they could use someone else though I am waiting to actually see if Giovanni returns in the HGSS games or if someone actually takes over Team Rocket to come to a final conclusion.

My lord the possibilities are endless for the new pokemon special arc. I'm wondering they're going to make crystal change her outfit to be like the new girl, or if she will just be a seperate character (maybe not even in the arc at all)

I think that the Pikachu-Colored Pichu would be the ones to Travel with Gold at the beginning before the Notched-Ear Pichu appears and somehow he comes across an egg and it hatches into the Pikachu-Colored Pichu.

I think some of the dex holders may appear in the Platinum arc while the rest appears in the HGSS arc if it happens which it is mostly likely the case just like some appeared in the FRLG arc and the rest appeared in the Emerald arc, but who knows may be something different and all of the Pokedex Holders do appear in the Platinum arc and the HGSS arc decide to take place a year late.

Dia has caught a Licklicy a couple of chapters ago and Bryon gave him his Shieldon. The Luxio at the beginning of the Diamond and Pearl arc evolved into a Luxary and aid Pearls to stop Team Galatic and eventually joins him and in the most recent Netkun magazine Pearl has caught a Buizel and two other Pokemon which are currently unknown. Platinum has said to caught some Pokemon after her gym battle with Candice, but they are unknown as well.

My theory is that Platinum connects to D/P in that Dia and Pearl are somehow transported to the Other World during the final battle by Giratina and Platina is on a mission to try and find more information about it. Although I'm not really sure why she's going around the BF, but it makes the arc more interesting. ^^; Anyway, that's not what this is about. I really don't think that, with what we've seen so far, the Pokedex Holders are going to be making an appearance in Platinum. I mean, I know it's somehow been established as a tradition, but I just don't see them reappearing in this arc. I think it's more logical to believe that the other Dex Holders, who I am going to assume are the Johto Trio, the Hoenn Trio, and maybe the Sinnoh Trio, will appear in HG/SS, and the final meeting would be in 5th Gen. But my theories are usually wrong. :P
