Games that haven't aged well

I thought I made a horrible typo in my thread title when I saw this on the index and you were posting to laugh at me

Visually, I think most games that try for realism gets dated very quickly - engines and graphics improve so fast that many pale in comparison to newer games even after a few years. Like off the top of my head, Oblivion and Skyrim are only 5 years apart but the visual differences are pretty staggering. It's still a fine game, but it's definitely not pretty to look at, imo.

Pokemon Red and Blue aged to be one of the glitchiest and broken games ever. Psychic types were the most broken types along with all the broken/glitched up moves.

From a graphical standpoint, just take a look at those early N64/PSX 3D games. {XD} FFVII for example, is just not pleasing to look at. Though I think it's hold up relatively well on the gameplay aspect.

Graphically a lot of early 3d games didn't age well... some like mario, megaman legends, and banjo kazooie have aged well and still look good to this day (But this is because of the aesthetic of those early games)

Gameplay wise (Other than, the weirdness and the non-standard button layouts) most early 3d games plays well to this day...

if I have to say a series that hasn't aged well then i'd say the original .hack// trilogy...
