Games you weren't allowed to play as a kid?

I never had any restrictions on what games I was allowed to play. I'm pretty sure I picked up GTA at a young age. Though according to them, I always displayed a maturity level above most.

Have been banned, and still am, from playing the MH series. Also anything that looks evil on the cover, my parents are pretty strict

My parents pretty much let me play anything except GTA, and maybe a few anime games with a lot of fanservice (not that I've really tried on that second one)

Funny thing was, when they realized I had been playing Duke and Thief way too young, my parents then implemented an age limit for my little brother 😂 I was a lost cause, but he had to wait even longer to get to play stuff ahah.

I had the same thing with the Simpsons, Guitar Hero and Mortal Kombat, but then again, my dad was pretty liberal with video games.
