Hours and hours of tedious searching... Nah, you just have to know where to look on the information superhighway. ;)

Heres something I did just last night, drawn under 5 minutes. Kirlia supposed to be drunk XD and Ralts is just....there (random nickle for size). This is what happens when you draw in notebook margins for a few years :P

Ah. Wonderful! Everything is good, but I'm glad most of all that I'm not the only one doing anything anymore (well, Kadabra too, and Poliwhirl does make the topics afterall). I hope the trend continues.

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you, or maybe myself, as I could never live it down. Basically, I'd say it's one of those things you'd have to find on your own terms, but if Housyasei-san wants to point you in the direction, then it's fine with me. All I know is, I cannot allow myself to be held responsible for...um...stuff. >.>

But as long as we bring the pictures to you (by which I mean everyone here), then everyone gets the benefit! ^_^

sorry for not writing. i had internet trouble.
ok now a teleporting question
if ralts teleports, does he stop time and walks to the destination
or
thinks of where he needs to go.
i always thought it was the first one

I've heard a couple of theories of Teleportation, not just involved in Pokemon, but in other cases where it's used as well. One common theory is that teleportation is nothing more than a being moving at light speed. When moving that fast, everything else does not seem to move. The problem with this is that the being in question would have to avoid colliding with anything during this phase.

Another theory is that the being creates sort of a worm-hole or interdimensional rift if you will that alters space and time around them. Usually in this case, the hole is created, and said hole is used to travel to a desired location. A variation of this is using oneself as some sort of device to tear through space and time. In this case, the body just disappears. According to the Pokemon anime, this seems more likely as the bodies tend to fade out as opposed to disappear lighting quick like, say, Pikachu in Smash Bros. using Quick Attack.

I think I rambled on enough up there. I wonder who'll find the time to read that? Those theories don't belong to me, by the way. I'm just summarizing stuff I've seen from various forums.

Have you noticed that whenever you see G, K or R, they always seem so serious....
Well an animation of my own series has been publish so that is why i didnt post for a while.
also on feb 2, im going to see marilyn manson! :)

I'm pretty sure he means the official art, and I'll admit it, the official is pretty bland (or has become bland, I'm too used to fan art now).

Even in the episode they were in, the most expressive character was Ralts, and all you see is a mouth. That's kinda sad, but the focus wasn't on the other two so it's understandable.

Anyway, I made a new banner that ought to get people's attention. Check the sig.

A quick story behind it (explaining the last comment), for about a year I've been searching for a Gardevoir website/fanlisting/shrine/forum/something in in the english language. I figured There's gotta be lots of people outside Japan who like Gardy. Yeah, well, durning that year the most I could find were two forums in Portuguese/Spanish (one active, the other not), one forum I think in German, a dead MSN group, and... I think that's it. However, if you get lucky you can find this club on a search engine, so I figure if true, this is probably all there is. Unless there are sites WAY underground, considering I did some pretty specific searching.

Sometimes I wish I could change that, but I'm probably thinking too hard about it.

ah...that means I can't use the same way to find other pokemon pics :P

I like the pic in your sig ^^ a bit fat though...

Gardevoir or the sig?

The sig's big so people can't miss it. Gardy...well, I never could draw her right. Told ya I was inconsistant. ;_;

Wait a second... on closer inspection, I guess that could be mistaken for a fat stomach. Oh goodness, that's not her stomach. :nervous:

Unless you knew that... which then just makes things even more crazy.

i like you sig! well done!
maybe you can make one with kirlia or ralts
like they are playing in the field untill they ran into a sign that is huge when you zoom out it is the clubs name and you back to a close up, their face are drooling due to the wonderfullness of the sign. well my idea.....

by the way, how do you make your arms move like that, i have trouble can you give me some tips?
PLLEAAAAAAAAAAASE

A very well done banner,K. Gardy being a little chubby just adds to the cuteness :D

In terms of pictures, if we post the cream of the crop, then you don't need links to oekakis and other sites. And believe me, I seen some terrible fanart by the bunches. ;)

I meant her face...>.<"

:P

Oh. Okay. All is good then. ^_^

At any rate, what do you mean by arm movements, Poliwhirl? The typing, head resting on palm, etc? Whatever the case, the way I do it is to just watch a whole lot of cartoons, and see how they move. You don't want to over complicate things by drawing a bunch of unnecessary frames.

That's bad. I'll admit it. I've never really been able to explain how I'm able to do this stuff. But honestly, though, watch a lot of cartoons and do a frame skip (if you have them on DVD or VHS). You can learn a lot by that alone.

And in terms of bad art, I guess that's really sorta relative. There are some childish pictures, but they're cute. And then there are some really detailed pictures featuring a darker tone and a near realistic human face (as best as I can describe it). That stuff scares the heck outta me, and while I'll save it regardless, I'd never show it (unless for example).

What I meant by 'terrible pictures' is those 'childish' ones you where talking about. Mosty the ones to spam up an oekaki, I seen that on this one oekaki...and it was just bad, spam everywhere. :dead:

And I like those 'dark themed'/realistic pictures, it a break from those happy-peppy pictures everywhere. Heck, if you went further in my DA gallery you see 'self-mutilation Gardy' from 27 kabillions years ago. I kinda-sorta like that stuff...

I'd give 7/10 for your sig :D

I'm feeling kinda random today. I think I'll put up a normal picture along with a spamish pic and a scary one (it'll probably be the only time I do it).

*searches*

Okay, it appears I don't have one of those darker ones saved (I thought I did... =( ...maybe that's not a bad thing), so I just compensated for something weird looking, but still neat.

I guess a deranged pic every now and then is a break, I don't mind them scary looking, just scary AND detailed human-esque at the same time (this isn't just adding a nose to one of the three). But the happy-peppy stuff is a great standard, considering you can't go wrong with it. Cute, cartoony, and in some cases, weird things are what I like most.
