It might be wise to take a strategic loss. Restart at 500 instead of fighting an uphill battle. If girls continue this round then they will need ~820 posts to reach 1000 and thus win. Whereas restart at 500 then you only have 500 to reach your goal.

Alas, I am not a FG mod or I'd have done it ages ago!
