    It took a lot of encouragement for me to enter this, and I don't really think it turned out great, oh well, I can't re-record it now, because I've already attached it =P

    Just so you know, the song is Womanizer, by Britney Spears

    Ergh, I'll join. I already recorded mine, took me a few attempts to find the right song (and get a mic that works... Had to rely on an MP3 player's mic now, due to my Headphone's mic not working, and my laptop's being awful...) I predict a low score for mine... Ah well...

    The song is Shut Up by Madness. I'll attach in a minute...

    K, I'm going to participate in this again XD Same song as the last unnofficial contest: Valley of the Damned. Or maybe Last Journey Home. Will get the full recording soon. I'm going to try to improve from since the last one. But the fact that no full criticism was given out last time didn't help >_>

    Whoot! Finally done. And I must say, I'm pretty proud of this one. Sorry about the ending though and skipping the bridge and final chorus :P When I get a proper mic/min-recording studio, you'll see the the talent named Uyi :surprised:

    Anywho, it's attached. And Chérii was awesome last time. So yay puberty! Yay it real good. :pink_evil:

    I think you connect your mic to your computer and record it with some program. Like Hypercam or something. =P *Says the person who's not joining* xP
     
    Stupid question, but does it have to be the whole song, or just the verse and chorus, a certain time frame...? I still don't know if I'll enter or not. :(
     
    It has to be long enough so that we actually get a feel for your voice, but it doesn't have to be the entire song. Obviously you can't just record a 10 second clip and call it an entry. :x

    Well here's my entry, I tried using the default sound recorder on my computer but that was really glitchy so I downloaded Hypercam unfortunatly it saved it as a .avi or whatever which I don't think is allowed? And forgive the microphone for making a really annoying sqweak at the very end it wasn't my fault. The song is Another Irish Drinking Song by DaVinci's Notebook. I think the file might be over the requirement... I'll keep trying to attach it. (360 thousand-ish kilobytes is bigger than 10mb right? way bigger o.o) I'll just zip it I guess, still to big... what should I do now?

    Sounds like you need some help. 30 thousand or whatever kilobytes is a LOT smaller than 10 megabytes, there are 1024 kilobytes in one megabyte. Also, if you saved it as .avi, check this site out; www.mediaconverter.org.
    It's free and works for video and sound so put the file in from your hard drive and change the output to .mp3. It should then work.
