Spreads some Pokemon holiday cheer with another year of the Gift of Surprise event, hosted by ReKoil. Revolves around trading Pokemon in the name of a type club in the Clubhouse. Involves two clubs this year: the Glacial Gathering (Ice) and the Cosmic Channelers (Psychic).
How do you participate?
Covers everything you need to know in the main post.
Provides a quick run-down here. First, get some Ice or Psychic type Pokemon, depending on the club you wish to represent. Screenshot or snap a photo of these Pokemon. Then, Wonder/Surprise trade them away OR hand them out in a Giveaway thread in the Trade Corner. Afterwards, capture another image of what you received and post the two images in the appropriate club.
Earns 1 point for the Ice club by giving an Ice-type and getting an Ice-type back. Works similarly for the Psychic club, but with Psychic-types instead. Notes a limit of one box of 30 Pokemon per club too.
Not a club member? No problem.
Allows non-club members to fully participate. Permits people to trade for both clubs as well.
How long does the event go on for?
Runs all throughout December.
The prize
Awards the Generous Gifter trophy to the club with the most points at the end of the event. Went to the Cosmic Channelers last year and the Water Club the year before that.
