The "Worst Names Ever" Crew
Nosepass, Leafeon, Stunky, Spiritomb, Toxicroak, Rhyperior

Looking down the list of names there are at least a good dozen or so more from the later generations that could be added to that team. Sometimes makes me wonder if Nintendo have employed a team of Nursery school kids to create names for the new Pokémon. I hear the pay is good, 2 lollipops an hour.

Luxray is actually a Lion so I think that would be appropriate.
I think Mismagius could be the Wicked Witch, since it's like a witch :P
We could make Froslass the other one if you like the water-water theme to carry on to ghosts :P

actually, i was thinking about that. How bou this?

Luxray (lion) Registeel (tinman) Sandslash (Scarecrow, could not think of anything better :P) Celfairy (Dorothy, since Clefairy comes form the Moon, Dorothy comes from Kansas, a place far away form Oz) Darkrai (West Witch) Creselia (Glinda the Good).

I made them Darkrai and Cresselia since they are opposisites, and one is (supposedly) evil, and one is good. So ya, it fits the West Witch and the North Witch. And those pokemon do look pretty Wicked and magical!

Lopunny/Misdreavus/Milotic/Roselia/Bellossom/Gardevoir

The bird team (I used a similar one in Emerald):
Blaziken/Empoleon/Skarmory/Altaria/Xatu/Dodrio

Of course there could be more to both, but I only named six. ;)

Mareep - duh?

Torchic - obvious.

Exeggcute - ... yeah. They are eggs. Eggs are on farms.

Miltank - they are cows. Yes.

Grumpig - more pig than Mankey or Swinub, I'd say.

Ponyta - hooves makes good horse. Fire maybe doesn't fit in a stable though...
 
Alright I got this.

Dragon Ball Team

Infernape, Grumpig, Mightyana, Mew, Wartortle, & Rayquaza (This is probably one of my most favorite teams yet)...Infernape=Goku (Goku is based of some Chinese folklore Monkey King, think his name is Sun Wukong or something), Grumpig=Oolong(Obvious reason), Mightyana=Yamacha (Wolf-Fang Fist, nuff said) Mew= Puar (A cat that can transform), Wartortule=Master Roshi (Do I need to explain?), and Rayquaza= Shenron (...really?)
