    Can't have a thread about PokeStar Studios without one about Musicals, now can we? XD

    [PokeCommunity.com] Give my regards to Broadway! [Musicals]

    In Nimbasa City, Unova, Trainers can enter their Pokemon in Musicals. There are four starting Musicals; additional Musicals were available via download from Global Link. Upon entering Pokemon into a Musical, Trainers can dress the Pokemon up with various Props; if the Pokemon is wearing any that fit the theme of the Musical they're entered into, they receive more attention from the audience. During the dancing portion, the Pokemon may use any Props it's holding to steal the spotlight and gain more applause. Afterward, the theater owner will tell each participant how their Pokemon did. If the Pokemon performed well, you may receive more Props from fans. Not all Props are available for participating in Musicals. If you are able to get all of the Props, you will receive a star on your Trainer Card. (A full list of Props and how to get non-Musical ones can be found here.)

    What did you think about the Musicals? Did you find them fun, or were they excruciatingly boring? Which Musical was your favorite? Were you able to get all the Props? Which ones did you like most? Would you change anything about the Musicals? Would you like to see them make a return in future games, or would you rather they stay in Unova?

    I liked the Pokemon Musicals. The thought of dressing up my adorable Pokemon made me go wild!! :pink_boogie:

    Sometimes they can be fun to do, but most of the time I found it boring. I think more interactive mechanics would have been added into it. A Sweet Soirée was my favorite of all the Musicals. Unfortunately I haven't gotten all of the Props yet. Still working on getting the rest. My favorite Props were the Shuriken and the Red Parasol. I would have the Pokemon Musicals stay in Unova. I think the musicals were added to be like Pokemon Contests in past Generations. If they would return, it would make a nice extra round for Pokemon Contests {XD}

    Sadly, I never really got around to doing it after the one time in BW that they make you dress up your Pokémon. Admittedly that was funny first time when you do that, maybe some day i'll check out the musicals for myself and actually give it a real whirl.

    I enjoyed Musicals to a certain extent, I think I participated in them more so than Pokéstar Studios to be honest, probably because they were more reminiscent of Contests. I definitely didn't get all the props haha I know that much, I think my favourite was probably the small Barrette (the yellow one) :) I think I maybe would have added another round or something, but it's hard to say I think they did very well with it especially considering they'd already used up a Dancing Round in Super Contests which might have fit well in the Musicals. Although I think they'd have been suited to Kalos what with Diantha being a big star and everything, I'd honestly prefer them to remain a strictly Unovian phenomenon as to me that's the region they're most associated with :)

    I loved the Musicals, despite so many saying they were boring. The accessories aka props were pretty cute and I did like dressing up my Pokemon in different combinations of the accessories and trust me, some were pretty funny at times.

    My fave Musical song is "Stardom" just because I like its backdrop. My fave props were the little bows because they had so many different shapes, colors and sizes. And on my Black I did manage to get all the props, and the fact that activating Memory Link in B2/W2 allowed you to obtain all the props you collected in the first game was a nice little touch for those that used the feature. Still, it took me a lot of work and exploring to get every single prop though.
