Giving away a free layout

    Well I'm not sure who remembers POS (Pokemon Old School)... I'm shutting it down and I gavethe awesome content to SA (PFU).
    I still have this layout, I got no use for I'm giving it away

    However whoever wants this I have to warn you. If you're an amature webmaster This ain't for you, most of the coding in this you wont understand, and theres even PHP in it. I used CSS to style it and there are no tables in it. I'd preffer it to stay that way, but I'm guessing whoever takes it wont care and will use tables anyway <_<. It's all Valid XHTML translation and the CSS is also valid.

    Whoever wants it just reply here. Only those with excisting websites can get it, so I'll be rating the sites to decide who gets it.

    Hmm, I think I'll wait for some more wishers... Leo, you have to have a site to get the layout, I don't see any links to a site that isn't a forum or a portal in your profile. Show me your site first.

    Yeah, its not a bad template.. a little plain to the eye, and i hate the right hand nav things. All in all i guess its ok for a starter site.
     
    I'm confused... Simone, are you also requesting the layout or just rating it o_O?...
    I didn't really ask for a rating of it, but whatever... Anyways, I have a personal standard when making layouts. Easy on the eyes and easy to read, which is why I always go with black text on white background of the content... I site should both be easy as well as stylish ;)...
    Anyways, I'll still be waiting for more requestees. So keep on asking guys... ;)

    i can update, clean it up and even promote it. so wat do you say, ill yahoo im u for info.
     
    I'm not requesting the layout, but I must say that it looks very nice, simple but effective. Personally, I have no idea how you do a tables-free layout, I have used tables for years... I guess I still have a long way to go XD
     
    I'm glad you like it ^_^. It's easy to make a table free layout when you know how to use CSS :P

    Why would you want to take it over? I'm closing it, I gave all the content to SA so we can't use the content any more, and I'm not willing to host POS any longer. Plus no offence, I checked out your site. And even though the layout is, "Ok" I guess the coding doesn't really show that you're experienced... Sorry.

    I'm really kind of looking for someone who can understand the coding, and isn't only looking to get a cool layout. Someone who can take really good care of it. Not only with content and design but also with coding...
     
    some of my OTHER sites show my experience that im a good WEBMASTER not coder. i am currently having a hard time getting my site off the ground due to alot of errors that ive had with some of my pages and php. i can host it if needed.
     
    To be a "Good" webmaster you need to be a good coder (Among other things :P)

    I could use another layout. I am very good at coding. I never used CSS though, but I checked it at w3schools.com and it really dosn't look hard so I could learn it fairly quickly. I've used HTML for about 10 months and used PHP for about 3 months. A view of my site is at https://fsgames.uni.cc It's not about Pok?mon. Would that be ok?

    i was wondering if i could have the layout. I used to own pokemonroms.com. Its now defunct after Ninty shut it down. So I lost my server, my domain, and about $70. But I'm starting out again on www.pokemonroms.tk. Take a look. I think it's looking quite well, but it needs a bit of sprucing up.

    There is no point in buying a domain. I still get over 1500 hits a day and I don't have one!!!
     
    Well Since I can't find anyone with the criteria I've set I decided to choose the best site, and then Teach the owner as much as I can about coding.

    So far in the leed are Pokemon Roms, I like the slogan "Simplicity is everything", It's so true!
    And Final Star Games, because it seemes to have some ambision, and at least it uses DOCTYPES on the source code ^_^
     
    The project - the Team Rocket Banner Exchange. Trust me - I need a layout. It is so pathetic.
     
    I wouldn't reccoment talking about my site in the public forums. 'Cause you know the content is you-know-what but thanks. I'll take that I'm the leader as a compliment. Oh yeah and also I'm looking for a new staff member just to help me expand the site a bit. Possibly buy a domain name if Pokemonroms.com is still available. If you would like to become a co-webmaster or graphic designer for my site PM me or start a thread ;-)

    There'd be no need to teach me the coding. I know PHP, java[script] and HTML among other things...

    Yes, I do no CSS. If you look at my site you will see I created rounded tables and changed the scrollbar. The simple things make a website.
