2nd Gen Gold, Silver, or Crystal?

hmmm I don't know because lugia is really cool but why not be able to get both hoho and lugia in both? Help lol

If I remember right, you can get both Lugia and Ho-oh in every version, but depending on the version, you'll get one much sooner than the other.

(In Silver, you get Lugia first, in Gold you'll get Ho-oh. Whichever one you get 2nd you won't get until you can travel to Kanto.)

Silver holds my favorite memories of Pokemon gaming ever.
Crystal's graphics, the ability to be a girl, and the moving sprites is nice and all.. but Silver is by far my favorite of the three~

You should get Crystal. You get to chase around Suicune and it has the best graphics out of them all. But I must warn you.
If you are going to buy any of them, know that the battery inside the game is most likely going to be dead. That means that you have to change the battery.

crystal, i played silver by my cousin and gold by a friend but i like crystal the most because it was my first pokemon game. the graphics are perfect not to lame such as in red blue
not to complicated like in r/s/e/fr/lg/d/p/pt

I liked Crystal the most because I loved playing as a girl; I am a girl after all. But I like silver for Aeroblast Lugia so they are both good to me.

Gold will always have sentimental value to me. xD But overall, I think Crystal is better. There are a bunch of little extras, such as the animations, the odd egg, more plot, battle tower, better phone calls, and other bits that make it worthwhile.

I would have to say Crystal. Gold & Silver are cool games and so are the others, but Crystal is really cool.

I played my Crystal so much, the internal battery for the cartridge died. It doesn't save anymore. I bought Pokemon Gold to fill the void...it didn't work...

I voted for Silver. It was my very first out of all three, and I actually never got Crystal...I only have it on my ROM thingy...it is fun, and the graphics are better, but Silver is more nastolgic for me :)

I ALWAYS choose the third game of a generation, so I said Crystal.
Same goes for Yellow, Platinum, and Emerald. :)

It has more of a plot to it as others have said and most of the sprites that had mistakes were corrected, such as Raikou for example.

Raikou and Suicune's lower mouth..

I have to say that Crystal is better. It was probably the first handheld Pokémon game to have animated pixels and the story practically revolves around Suicune. <3
