Hey guys! I've come from the Mcleodgaming forums to learn more about ROM hacking. Glad to be here!

Hey there Goombario64, and welcome to PC! My name is Zach, and it's a pleasure in getting to know you! {:3}

I am gonna assume right off the bat you're a Mario fan, right? With a username like that, I'd assume so :p Goomba being the most common Mario enemy and obviously Mario being the main protagonist and hero of all. It's a pretty unique username, and I'm actually kinda surprised we don't have a Super Mario fan club here yet.. I would create one, except that I've fallen behind in time on Mario games, and the newest Mario game I have on me is Mario Kart DS, from a few years ago, and I seem to have misplaced that somehow. :\

Anyways, I see you came here for ROM hacking! We have such a large ROM hacking community here, it's the part of the forum that receives the most activity here on PC! The section is known as none other than Emulation & ROM Hacking! Over there you could find out tips and tricks into ROM hacking, download others' ROM hacks, and or even showcase your own ROM hack (or hacks) if you want to! Feel free to post in other sections here on PC as well! :)

Anyways, as a reminder, please be sure to look over the rules here, so that you don't wind up getting into trouble at all.. the last thing we want to see here is a new member getting an infraction onto their profile from committing several repeated offenses, but I hope you aren't one of those people ;)

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in asking anyone around here on staff! They are identifiable as the users with the bold usernames, and they would be more than glad in getting to help you out whenever you may need them! :D

I'm just assuming by your name you like Super Mario right? I don't really follow the series like crazy but I love the Mario Party and Mario Kart games. Yeah we don't have a Super Mario fan club, but can always make one! Just go to Pokemon Clubs to make it if you want. Be sure to follow all the guidelines though to ensure your club gets approved of. Club are really fun if I say so myself. I own two clubs here so I can say personally they are! You can also check out the video game section as well where you can talk about Super Mario and even other non Pokemon games. I've talked to the moderator , Miss Doronjo many times on here and other forums. He's a cool and nice dude. He and many other mods can help you with any questions and concerns you may have so don't be shy to ask. :)

I'm certain you came for ROM hacking though since you mentioned that in your intro! As Zach said, you can check out the Emulation & ROM Hacking section we have. You'll find that we have alot of tutorials there and all the resources you need to make a hack. ROM hacking is by far are biggest forum so there's always tons of regulars there. Which means lots of people there who can help you on anything! I've alwayed thought some hacks looked pretty impressive. Even better than a lot actual Pokemon game ahaha. I've always wanted to play some of them. Hopefully once you learn everything , you can build a team and make a hack of your own!

Making friends here isn't hard too do at all and I hope you can meet lots of cool people! Alot of people like to chat so don't be afraid to talk to people. Have a fun time and enjoy yourself! Go ahead and VM (that box on my profile) or PM me if you want to!

ROM hacking is a wonderful choice to get involved in and I'm sure you'll find whatever you're looking for here. Zach and AWsquared have already provided you with some great information so there's probably no need for me to dive further into that topic.. just be sure to take their suggestions into consideration, yes? ^C^ There is a whole lot to do in our Emulation board as it's quite an extensive library of hacks and information which means it's easy to get lost, but that's what we're here to assist you with! :) Welcome!

You have a cute 'lil username, it's from Paper Mario, isn't it? I've heard so many good things about that series but sadly the only one I ever played was Sticker Star.. and according to people that one wasn't as good. Have plans to try the older ones though, but first I'll need the actual system! Bahaha.

Glad to hear you're excited about being here, I'm sure that excitement will only grow as you involve yourself in discussions and work on your ROM hacks. I tried to make my own game way way back but that never went anywhere and I concluded that I mostly enjoyed just playing the fangames rather than trying to make them. We have some of the greatest hacks here, like Liquid Crystal and Light Platinum. Let those games be your inspiration and keep working to create the best game for our wonderful members! And while you're at it, be sure to explore other parts of the forum as well, right? Or at least consider it - there's a lot to do here and we have some amazing members all over the forum. You can trade, battle, discuss the anime, and many other lovely things. We're here waiting to meet you and become friends~

Welcome, I joined for Rom hacking aswell... But I was stolen by the Rp section though i am still hacking i just don't need a team since I have all the tools I need anyway welcome to the community and enjoy your stay
