To be honest, there are positives and negatives I can take from it so far.
I enjoy the battles themselves, the Pokemon look and interface, while unspectacular is still fairly good. I also enjoy the use of the Battle Pass and the various customizations you can make to your profile. Getting your Pokemon off your DS onto the Wii couldn't be easier, and making your Battle Pass is easy as well.
My only real grumbles, are that so far the battles in the colosseum have been far from competitive. Most of my Pokemon are bred for IVs/natures and are EV trained, so coming up against Pokemon like Farfetch'd and Monferno doesn't really make for good battles. Please tell me the matches get harder as you go further into the game!
As for the Wifi battles, again positives and negatives for me. The ease of connecting is great, and the battles are enjoyable. Just a shame we can't choose an opponent rather than be given random opponents. The amount of people I battled who had rental Pokemon was ridiculous. In nearly 2 hours of battling on wifi, only 2 trainers had their own Pokemon, and only one of them seemed to have EV trained Pokemon and gave me a good battle.
Obviously thats just my own opinion, probably doesn't warrant its own thread, but anyway hehe!
Feel free to discuss my thoughts.
