Grammar type?

I'm a grammar nut, so I try to type with proper grammar and spelling. I don't like when other people use messy grammar on forums, but I'm okay with it on chats and the like.

I prefer proper grammar.
I only use bad grammar when messing around with friends.
Although your proper grammar poll up there didn't use proper grammar, either time.

Even though I have perfect knowledge of both proper grammar n 1337 speek, i stil prfr prpr gramr cuz it luks nizer and awsumzord...

Aw, crap...

I try to type properly but I sometimes make spelling and grammar mistakes. But I'm sure that everyone does that as well.

I usually type with almost perfect grammar because I don't know how to spell every single English word in the world

I'm usually pretty good about writing in complete sentences with proper capitalization, but sometimes, smilies become periods. ^^;;

Sometimes I have ridiculous run-on sentences, but that's usually not supposed to be serious. Usually... And sometimes my sentences might not be complete sentences. (ie: I had this, this, and this. And that. That kind of thing.) I really should stop that.

I'd vote the first one if it was correct.
I TRY using the right grammar most of the time, unless something requires me to use bad grammar, or while I'm instant messaging.
Sometimes, I find mistakes in my past posts and correct them afterwards.

with proper grammar, though I got the occasional typo every now and then and the odd word I just can't put my finger on (English isn't my first language)^^

I don't mind improper grammer on something like Instant Messaging. However I prefer proper grammar on forums and such.

I try to type as well as I can most of the time online, but I lapse occasionally into the so-called "txtspeak" style when on MSN to save time.

I usually pay attention to my grammar, and I usually don't forget the period.

While I do tend to misplace commas, My grammar is usually readable. I generally use the comma as a pause in thought, and I love appositives. :P

Yay proper! \o/ Only on forums though. When I'm IMing, I don't usually bother with grammar. but i stil dunt tolk liek dis lol because that right there takes more time to type than proper grammar does.

I do not maintain a standard of grammar in IM conversations; but elsewhere, I do.

By the way, your example question should be "Hey Mark; what's up?".

I use proper grammar and syntax, of course.

I might make the occasional mistake, but I can't stand to purposely ignore the rules of writing. I don't care where it is -- forums, private messages, instant messages, real life, and pretty much anything anywhere. I try not to get on others from writing poorly too much, but I don't like it at all.

It is really annoying when people type with terrible grammar. I don't mind it too much when I'm in a chat room, but on something like a forum it really just makes people look stupid. No offense, but that's what they come off as when they can't take the time to write correctly.

I use proper grammar, not any of that rubbish ''1337'' chat or anything. Even on MSN or games I use proper grammar.
It looks nicer and is easier to communicate with people who use it.

I type with proper spelling, capitals, question marks and all that, but most of the time I suck with grammar. I'm not too strong when it comes to grammar. I guess it's my weak point in English.

I try to use propper grammar on the forums, but occasionally I get sloppy or in too much of a hurry. I occasionally make spelling errors, because I'm not exactly the best speller around... But I would say I'm fairly good at typing normally.
