Hello everyone!

Long time fan, new user to the forums/site. A brief history, I started on Blue WAAAAYYY back when it first came out, then had a yellow version, and then a Gold while my bro had all the opposite colors. I recently started playing my Heartgold on my DS, and forgot how awesome it was! Since, I've been re-watching the TV series from the beginning and am just starting on Johto Journeys (aka Season 3).

I'm from Michigan and look forward to hanging out and talking with all of you! It would also be nice to start a local Masters group (Masters referring to age based on tournament standards) to just hang out, have fun, battle and talk Pokémon! Look forward to hearing from you all soon!

Hi! I'm coming to the end of "season" 5 myself, which is still Johto. Haven't watched much lately, just the odd ep., but been meaning to finish the season and see the beginnning of Hoenn. We have a forum where the anime is discussed. :)

I'm curious more about this "Masters" idea. Can you explain further?

Another older fan of Pokemon who grew up with the franchise? I sorta fit that description as well! (Although my first game was Ruby)

How are you enjoying HeartGold? HG/SS were such great games, bringing back all that Johto nostalgia. What starter did you pick? I picked Cyndaquil when I played SoulSilver.

I'd recommend the Competitive Battling Center and the several Pokemon-based areas. I hang out mostly in Other/Pokemon Trivia, which is FUN...

In fact, I love helping new users settle in given my 16 month experience here.

If you want to talk to someone who's funny, intelligent and brags about Oshawott/Dewott/Samurott, Hikari is your girl. (Yes, I may look male but I am actually female)

Try and talk to any staff member if you get the chance, they are there to help you... oh, and no advertising pal, that would be dangerous.

Basically As defined by the 2012 Tournament standards, the Pokémon "Masters League" is for anyone who was born in 1996 or earlier. Basically to avoid the whole "pedo" notion ^.^ (which I am definitely NOT) I'm just trying to find people my age who share similar interests and wouldn't mind hanging out/talking/battling more in person.

I'd post a link to the rules, but not enough posts :C But they can be found on the pokemon.com official website.

Thanks for the welcome, and no Michigan has been really warm (like in the 100's so far) and we had almost no snow this past winter. It was in the 80's by march this year.. Normally it is rather cold and dull, but for some "reason" the weather has been really messed up lol.

HG is pretty fun, although I'm AR'n some of it, mainly to catch Pokémon I want. I've already beaten the entire game once back on the orginal Gold Version, but my bro erased it to play his own file :C I had soooo many shiny bread pokemon too.. And I picked Cyndaquil initally, but picked Totadile this time around.

I'll have to check it all out. Dunno what my specialty is just yet and don't worry, I don't plan on spamming, I hate them enough as is lol.

And as for you looking like a guy, I'm not here to judge, that and I haven't seen a pic of you yet >< so I wouldn't know!
